Good Tweezers
This set of (6) tweezers is as useful as it looks daunting. The (6) stainless steel tweezers vary in size from 4-1/2" up to 7". Two of the tweezers have serated tips one is inverse, one has a slide latch and the others are straight flat tip. The set comes in a clear front plastic carrying case. Good for model cars, planes or hard to reach splinters.

Hard Dentistry
Prick tiny bits of gunk from nasty places with these U.S. made hardened stainless steel dental tools. But please don't use them for dental work. They are slight seconds, and some may have been re-worked which only matters to teeth. Trim excess glue from models, place a barrel on the deck of the ship-in-a-bottle, clean a rasp. Hemostatic Heaven
Hemostats are the clamplike devices dangling from veins and arteries in melodramatic operating scenes. Our particular collection are Pakistani surgical-grade instruments made of magnetic stainless steel. As such we rate them pretty good, but not fantastic. Hemostats look like little pliers. The jaws are relatively fine, with rounded tips. The inside faces are lightly serrated to get a grip on tubing or body plumbing. And the handles are much longer than the jaws. Now the heavenly part. Great hobby clamps that can be worked into small areas. Fine heat sinks for electronics. Good hook extractors for trout fisherpeople. Excellent tubing clamps for flow-sensitive chemistry experiments. Sizes are approximate length.

Got Plastic Slivers?
Try plastic tweezers. Joke. But you do need this pair of 5" long plastic tweezers, with serrated jaws and tips that taper to 1/16" wide points, for electronics applications (no fear of magnetization). The blue-plastic and red-plastic tweezers are safer for kids' crafts classes and school projects, too, and mighty affordable at less than 35 cents each.

Gadgeteers, get out your charge card. This is an instrument you absolutely have to own. It reaches down below sofa cushions, inside piggy banks, into fish tanks, and past a gallbladder. Not simultaneously, of course. The slim stainless steel alligator forceps is 11" long OA, with a 2-1/2" angled handle and an 8-1/2" reach. It has small 5/8" long serrated jaws, delicate but tight, at the very tip! Better buy an extra. We guarantee people are going to "borrow" these if they see them.

Disposable Scalpels
Just because hospitals toss 'em after one use doesn't mean you should. These are sterile scalpels, and they're ultra-handy in the shop or craft room. Measure 6" long with snap-off blade shields. You pick #10 with a rounded profile or #11 with pointed blades

(Locking) Syringes
Or sort-of-locking. Push the plunger down and they lock in place, but push the 1/8" nipple down on a hard surface and they'll unlock for re-use. Handy in the shop or craft room for oil, grease, paints, and glues. (Also quite useful for getting liquid medication into the dog.) They measure 3-1/2" long x 9/16" dia and hold 5ml, are graduated in .2ml increments, and have threaded tops. Note the throwaway price.

Feed The Kitty
Translucent plastic, no-needle syringes. You pick between the medium (30cc / 1 oz. Measures 5-1/2" long compressed x 3/4" dia with an offset 1/16" ID outlet) or the large (60cc / 2 oz. Measures 6-1/2" long compressed x 1-1/4" dia with an offset 1/16" outlet). Handy in the lab, workshop, kitchen and craft room, but you could also attach one of these to the head of your favorite teddy bear and have a furry with a syringe on top. (We're sorry. We couldn't stop ourselves.)
