Stop picturing a fat cable you can use to tie down an airplane. This is great 20–strand twisted cable from the aircraft industry, but at 1/16” dia, it’s sized more for a Chicago Cub than a Piper Cub. The cable is high–quality stainless steel, unjacketed and very strong. Use it to hang extremely heavy mirrors, make repairs, create bendable metal sculptures! Order in 15–foot or 100–foot hanks. Enjoy!

Drummers, tighten up your flight cases. Hikers, tighten down your packs. Our each is a bag of (30) typical 5/16" dia stretch cords with metal hooks at the ends, (10) of each size: 12" red, 18" blue, and 24" green. Stretch your imagination, count all the stuff you tighten with a bungee cord, and you'll still have some left over. Good thing, the way you keep losing them.

Mega-bungee cords. Just the ticket for tying down motorcycles, refrigerators, or large marsupials. (Tie your kangaroo down, boys!) Our each is a package of (10) of these monsters, approx 1/2" dia x 6-feet long, in black with green accents (colors may change), with 1" x 2-1/2" hooks on both ends. That's just over a buck apiece. Outstanding!

We could have offered you 50 feet of 3/32" dia ball chain and a handful of connectors, but we're saving you the trouble of creating individual key chains. You'll get (100) 6-1/4" lengths, each with (1) connector.

Think cargo and clotheslines, not climbing McKinley. 50 ft. lengths of brightly colored, abstractly-patterned nylon rope in 1/4" diameter. It's good quality, but the only specs we have say that it's not for so-called "critical applications" - rappelling, commando raids, that sort of thing. Whip this out at your next bivouac, though, and you'll be the envy of the entire campground.

That's what it says on the label, but we don't get it either. We think it's just good quality nylon cord at a bargain. We offer a package of (4) spools (with 1-1/2" long spindles), each with 25 feet of .015" thick, 27-lb test nylon cord. Don't feel obligated to retrieve bait with it.

for any number of things. We like this 50-foot length on its own plastic winder to keep in the trunk or the boat for your general rope emergencies. Made of 5mm braided polypropylene in red-orange, blue or white (our choice), it resists rot, mildew, moisture and chemicals, takes a knot well, and floats.

White-plastic, solid-link, light-to-medium-duty chain has 1/2" wide links, about (24) to the foot, and can be easily cut and reconnected. Great to hang pots of impatiens, edge your garden, or keep people from edging into line at your next buffet. Or to wrap around a white-plastic skeleton!

If you're old enough, you'll remember Johnny Carson demonstrating this amazing toy on the old Tonight Show. Ronnie the Rope means hours of fun. Look, he's a snake! Now he's a belt! Now he's a lasso! Well, all right, we don't have Ronnie, but we do have a whole gang of his friends! And you'll get (10) times the fun with these (10) 9-1/2-ft lengths of 3/16" dia white nylon rope.

AKA shock cords, to the prosaic minded. 1/4" dia rubber cords wrapped with a protective sheath of woven nylon, and equipped with a hefty hook of 1/8" dia steel at each end. Reasonable arm pull tension will produce about a 50% increase in length. The hooks will embrace about 1" dia of whatever. Lengths shown are relaxed, hook tip to hook tip. Use them to bundle stuff or to loose lash stuff to fixed things. Especially useful as tie downs on boats, cars, planes, horses, camels and snowmobiles. Don't stay home without one! Our "each" on the 24" version listed below is a pack of (4).

Shiny brass chain of the sash persuasion. Light duty and only 1 ft long, Purchasing says it is for industrial doll houses. Over here in Editorial, we believe less and less of what Purchasing tells us. So we suggest you use it to secure the chuck key to a tool, a roll of electric tape to your belt, or someone from Purchasing to his cubicle. (They are all quite puny.)
