The correct answer is "I don't know; I've never toggled." If, however, you just want to turn something on and off, here's a choice of toggles for your switching delectation. The DPDT toggle is rated for up to 20A at 125VAC and has screw terminals below. Measures 1-1/4" x 1-3/4". No center-off position. The first DPST toggle is rated for 20A at 125VAC or 15A at 250VAC. Screw terminals on the bottom. Measures 1-5/16" x 3/4". The smaller DPST toggle is rated for up to 4A at 125VAC or 2A at 250VAC. Has 3/16" spade terminals on the bottom and measures 1" X 9/16". All the toggles come with switch-plates and mounting nuts.

All from GB® (Gardner Bender) and all bargains. The small SPST toggle switch, 1" x 1/2" x 1/2", has a switchplate, 3/8" bat, and 5-1/2" leads. The panel mount DPST toggle switch, 1-3/8" x 3/4" x 1-1/8" OA, works with larger motors or appliances. Has screw terminals on the bottom and mounting hardware. The 1-1/8" x 5/8" x 1" deep OA momentary SPDT toggle switch, center off, is for back-and-forth switching, as with a winch. It's 3/4 HP max. Includes mounting hardware. The SPST toggle switch is 1" x 5/8" x 3/4", 3/4 HP max. Comes with mounting hardware, switchplate, and 5-1/2" leads. The momentary DPDT toggle switch, center off, 1-5/16" x 3/4" x 1-1/8" deep OA, comes with mounting hardware. All are UL/CSA. The rubber Toggle Switch Covers come in a package of (2) and have a built-in hex nut with 1/2" threads, fits over a standard length bat, and provides protection from dust, grime and moisture.

Rather Switch Than Fight?
Try our 12VDC SPST rocker switches. The rectangular version is for use at 20A and has a green LED in the paddle. Fits a 1-1/8" x 7/16" hole, and the switch itself is 1-1/4" x 1-11/16" x 1" deep, in black, with quick disconnect terminals. From Calterm®, #40343. The square switch is for use at 25A with an LED in the circular paddle and fits a 5/16" dia hole. The switch itself is 1-1/8" square x 9/16" deep, and quick disconnects on the bottom. Illuminating Moment
A cool double pole double throw momentary rocker switch. The rocking switch lever is white plastic with a 24 V bulb in it. Wire it so the lamp is always on, flashes when pushed, is on except when pushed....whatever you want. The switch is rated for 3 amps @ 125 VAC and has solder terminals. 1" x 3/4" x 1-3/8" from the tip of the rocker to the base of the solder terminals at the back. Cory suggests applying it to your rocket launcher.
