The Adjustable Journal
These black or light brown, padded-cover refillable journals are Staples® Rolla™ brand, with "the convenience of a notebook, the versatility of a binder," by which they mean they're bound with small solid rings, so they open flat and stay flat, but the ruled sheets can be slipped out and reinserted elsewhere in the book. You pick the small, 8" x 5-1/2" journal or the large, 8-1/2" x 11" one. They all have 70 pages, ruled on both sides and with a blank heading/date space on each side, plus a small ruler, business card holder, pen strap and two dividers, one with a pocket.

White Paper Is For Wimps
Call it reverse-loose-leaf paper. You get (60) sheets of black, 8" x 10" three-hole punched paper, wide ruled in gray. Made for use with gel ink, it's like taking notes in an alternate universe. Acid-free for you scrapbookers. Very cool.

Illegal Pads
Illegal pads, on account of legal pads are 8-1/3" x 14" and these are your basic 8-1/2" x 11". Nice white 50-sheet letter-size pads, though. Blue lines spaced a standard 5/16" apart. A top margin of 1-1/2". No left-hand margin or vertical rules at all. Our each is a pack of (12).

Bargain Post-it Notes
Sometimes leftovers provide not only a bargain, but some good clean fun. Our each is (5) 50-sheet pads of 4” x 6” Post-it® notes. They were pharma-giveaways to promote “Diastat (Diazepam Rectal Gel)” but they feature an unfortunate little fire extinguisher logo, and they say “Stop the seizure. Fast.” No need to thank us.

Bound To Appeal
Nice bound notebook, 62 sheets with 58 of them (116 sides) ruled with Mon-to-Sun and weather icons, plus memo and date lines on the top margin. Slips into a dark brown bonded-leather cover with "Kai-Zen Notebook" imprinted on the top half. Pages measure 6-3/4" x 9-3/4" with 3/8" rules. Package says "ruled lines guarantee straighter writing" -but only if you stay inside the lines.

Hardcover Notebook
Hardbound in plain dark-blue boards with silver-edged pages and a tasteful silver logo on the cover, our best notebook has (80) full-sized 8-1/2" x 11" blue-lined sheets with a ribbon page marker. Each page is college ruled, with a space for a date at the top of the right-hand page. From Mead's Cambridge Limited® line, it will encourage you to keep much better notes and probably make you a better person. Extremely nice as a travel journal or guestbook, or as a special place to record your grudges.

You'd expect to find these 5" x 7" souvenir cards at Navy Pier, before there was anything at Navy Pier. They're circa 1980, with full-color touristy photos. If you're a Chicago buff, frame them. Or pass them out at your next party and see who can pinpoint the date of the photos from high-rise construction and cars in the background. Or actually use them as notecards, if you don't mind the slightly dated look. (10) in a pack, with at least (5) different scenes.

Clever little plastic boxes 4-1/2" x 2-1/4" x 1" hold note paper - and dispense one sheet at a time as you open and close the cover. The clear red box is labeled "Mom," the clear pink box says "Grandma." They work even better with business cards, so they make great little gifts if Mom or Gram has her own cards. We'll send you a bag of (3) with at least one of each design.
