And lots of ‘em. These coated paper trays are microwave-safe. In fact, they’re very much like the ones used for some commercial frozen entrees, but we draw the line at claiming they’re food-ready or food-safe. At these prices, though, they’d make great lab trays, paint palettes or craft containers for schools—or any place else you need a lot of tough little disposable trays. They measure 8” x 6-3/8” x 1-3/16” deep and are off-white inside, bright orange/red on the outside.

We suspect this clear plastic bathtub shaped "bowl" was made as the lid for some horrible airplane food dish. It is very light weight, flimsy even, 5-1/4" long x 2-3/4" wide 1-3/16" deep. Hold frog parts in it in biology. Mix craft glop in it. Hold sequins while sewing, or watch parts while seeking the source of ticking. Great to cover one large stalk of celery stuffed with cream cheese and placed on a dish of your choosing.

30905 FLIMSY BOWL |
A standard plastic dishpan in yellow or bright green (we'll pick one) 16" dia with 5" sloping sides and a lip like, well, a dishpan. Holds approx (2) gallons. It's unused German military surplus, which might raise the question of why the German army would issue the troops bright plastic dishpans, but we've chosen not to go there.

Too many of them around anyway. Try this 1-1/2 qt (if filled right to the top) stainless steel bowl instead. Slope-sided, 7-1/2" dia at the top (counting the lip) and 2-1/2" deep. Pretty much your standard pooch dinner dish, but equally suitable for snacks, soup and stews around the campfire, or anything that stains plastics.

38389 STAINLESS BOWL |
It was made for holding a holiday candle, but this high-end-design vessel is mega-useful for any number of functional and decorative applications (but not to hold food). In frosted, deep-red glass, it measures 4" dia x 2-1/2" tall, with perfectly straight sides. .

37845 RED CONTAINER |
Round stoneware cups with a roughly 1/2” wide inner lip so Polly can’t scatter her birdseed or crackers everywhere. They’ll also make great candle holders, planters, shot glasses, and objects d’art. Brown, glazed exterior; blue interior. Confusing dimensions: the 4” model is 3–3/4” OD x 2–1/2” tall. The manufacturer names them; we just measure them and sell them.

27973 STONE CUP, 4" |
There's a debate here at the home office. Some people call it a bowl, some people (the gelatin fans) call it a mold. Works well either way, which makes it a twofer. It's translucent plastic, 2-3/4" tall x 7" ID, with an attractive dodecahedral outer dimension. (That's 12-sided to the geometrically challenged.) Has a 1/2" lip around the top, with a 5" dia inside bottom. And you get a whole bunch for next to nothing. Which led us to call it a bowl, because just how many gelatin molds do you need?

38112 PLASTIC BOWL |
What ever could you put in these (6) flexible, black-plastic bowls 6" dia across the top x 5" dia across the bottom x 2" deep? Cheese puffs, perhaps. Cheese curls. Cheese popcorn. Cheese dip. Dollops of cottage cheese. Cubes of cheddar. Are you seeing a theme here? A bit cheesy -- but serviceable, indestructible if you keep them away from heat, safe around the pool, and cheap enough to water the dog or lose on a picnic.

On the bottom of this light aluminum tray is a purple and white picture of a friendly buck-toothed bunny. A great tray for all things Easter, and for all fans of rabbits. The face is also imprinted into the aluminum, suggesting a second life as a cake pan. It's 11" x 7" x 1-3/4" deep.
