So the concept was developed by NASA for the space program. You can use it to beef up the safety lighting on your bike. Or re-enact the Electric Horseman, or maybe just really dress up a jogging hat. It's a 30" long x 1/4" wide electroluminescent peel-and-stick strip like the government uses on airplanes. (Hey, that's what it says on the box.) It glows a light blue--in steady or flashing modes--when powered by (2) "AAA" batteries, which are not included because we can't do everything. The control box and battery case, 2" x 1-1/2" x 1" thick, is in the middle of the strip with mounting hardware for your bike. Or saddle.

The Littlest Headlamp
Or book light. Or bike light. Or anyplace light. At 1-3/16" dia x 1-1/4" deep, it weighs approx nothing but has a very bright, single white LED with a collimating lens. It's in black plastic and mounted on a little spring clip which has an 11" long, adjustable elastic strap threaded through it. The light swivels 90° on the clip. Wear it around your head, on your wrist, arm or leg; clip it to a book, clipboard, a car or hat visor, the dog, a bike part, a tent flap. Runs on (2) coin batteries, included, and you tighten the lens holder to turn it on. Can you say "versatile?"

This clever little bicycle or head lamp has (9) bright white LEDs flanked by a pair of red LEDs. Set it for one of (3) modes: single white LED; all (9); or just the (2) red flashers. Has a handlebar mount and an adjustable elastic head strap, and swivels up/down and left/right in either. The light measures 2-5/8" x 2-7/8" on a 1-3/4" x 1-5/8" bracket and we'll include (3) "AAA" batteries. It runs about 24 hours on a set of alkaline batteries. The perfect gift for the coal miner who moonlights in the Tour de France.

Foot Pump
You say you don't need your foot pumped up? How about your beach ball? Bicycle tire? Air mattress? Attach the quick-connect valve head of the Pumpt" and tromp away on the foot pedal. Clarabell's Horn
You get two tones (one squeezing, the other while the bulb inhales) from this retro bike horn, whose tone is much more a Clarabellian quack (see Howdy Doody if you're too young) than a deep Harpo Marxian (ditto) honk. Which is good on a bicycle. Measures 8" long with a 2-3/8" bell and a rubber bulb that will be either red, black, or purple. Includes a removable handlebar mount.

Flash!
This just in. A blue double LED flasher with gasketed circuitry so you can mount it in your bike spokes. Also has a slot so it can be threaded on a strap. Two modes, flashing or constant (constant is motion sensitive). It's flat, egg-shaped with side mounting lugs-sort of a beetle with earrings-that's 3-1/8" x 2-3/8". Powered by (2) CR2032 batteries (thoughtfully included).

Good Grips
Mountain bicycle handle grips, all new, slightly soft black rubber. All apparently first quality. Great for replacements. Not a biker? Try them as bump protectors on mops and brooms and oars. Or for improving grip on fishing and butterfly nets, ski poles, and miscellaneous handles around the factory!! "Rib" means circumferential ribs,. "Smo" means smooth. The "Shift" grips are meant to go over the gear shift ring and have internal ribbing for half their length to grip the shift ring which reduces the stated ID by 1/8". "Knob" means it has knobby circumferential ribs alternating with smooth spaces. "Open" (or "Op") means both ends are open and "Closed" means one end is closed. All except the "Shift"'s are slightly tapered inside for a tight friction fit. We give the maximum ID in the table.

Ride Off Into the Sunset
It's hard to make a good exit if your feet keep slipping off the pedals. We have acquired (2) styles of replacement bike pedals, so you can depart in dignity. Cheap dignity. Flat-top pedals give each foot a 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" hard plastic platform on a shaft with 1/2" dia x 7/8" threaded end. Both pedals threaded counter-clockwise. These "excel" pedals may have been made for an exercise bike. Concave pedals are 1-3/16" thick and have slightly dished 2-5/16" x 4" faces. These come in lefts and rights (you'll get one of each) with 1/2" x 1/2" clockwise and counterclockwise threaded shafts.
