You've seen everybody's favorite desk toy. The one that makes you swear you can pick up the coin that's right inside it. Too bad it's really a hologram you're looking at! Now you can own this petite version of the popular "illusion" toy. This one, 6" dia x 2" tall, with a 1-5/8" opening on the top, leaves more money in your wallet and more room on your desktop. And try to touch that little rubber frog that comes with it. It's either enchanting - or enchanted!

Think of it as a shortcut to learning perspective. This clever 50-sheet pad of white, 7" x 4-1/2" paper has a fine red and blue grid pattern that shows your drawing and doodling in 3-D when you wear the included 3-D glasses. It's our candidate for the why-didn't-I-think-of-that award this year.

A schizophrenic camera! The Split Cam" combines (2) photos, as you take them, and creates a single picture. Horizontally, it can meld one person's top half with another person's bottom half. It can put your pit bull's head on your boss's shoulders. Split vertically, one person can be on both the left and right sides, particularly helpful for photographers covering political candidates. Standard 200 or higher film, standard developing, 4" x 6" prints.

Neon strip cardboard spectacles with diffraction gratings as the lenses. You can see the regular world, but all light sources and bright objects appear in multiple rainbow hued images. The effect is a little as though the whole world were a giant hologram. Great stocking stuffer or birthday party item for grade school ages.

A "One gizmo does all" marvel. It really works as a binocular, magnifier/linen tester, and has a signaling mirror, and compass all in a roughly 1-1/2" sq x 3-3/4" long package. The bino eyepieces and objectives fold against the body with the objectives doubling as magnifiers when used alone. The signaling mirror makes a good examining table for bugs and seeds etc and is conveniently located under one of the lenses. It should make a good "going off to camp" gift!

Finish it off with das periscope. Perfect for a blue-plastic submarine, our blue-plastic periscope will let you see the destroyers following your bubbles, or, if you're stuck on land, let you look around corners. Our visual aid is 1-3/8" dia, telescopes from 14" long to 10", has a clutch to secure the length and a 1" dia port to look through. Handy for reverse snorkeling, too. (Just think about it, OK?)

The world is your kaleidoscope with a teleidoscope, which is to say that instead of a bunch of little pieces of glass and beads in a rotating case, there's a lens at the other end, in this case a big, clear glass marble making lovely patterns based on whatever you point it at. (Try it on a printed page.) Measures 1" dia x 8-1/4" long. The cardboard tube is covered with diffraction paper for a cool look. Assorted colors

No little plastic gemstones or paper clips inside, just a fish-eye lens at the business end of this toy so anything you point it at is viewed as a kaleidoscopic treat. ("Look how pretty my desktop is!") Measures 4-1/4" long x 1-3/8" dia with a wrist strap. And kaleidoscope can too be a verb, because we said so.

A non-PC product offering mockery for the optically challenged. Black framed spectacles with thick acrylic "lenses" that give the wearer the look of someone with inch thick lenses for tunnel vision but don't in fact affect your sight. A great addition to your mad scientist outfit!!
