Combine creepy and greedy, and you have the wind-up coffin bank. Put a coin on the black-plastic coffin and watch the skull bob up, while the lid opens and the bony hand snatches the loot and drags it inside. Measures 6-1/2" long x 2-1/2" x 2". Think of it as an amusing way to save for your funeral expenses.

Drinking Bird
A rather dumb looking 6" bird with a felt covered head and has plastic feet. Worse, he cannot get his fill of water. You buy the drinks. Fluid inside condenses from the evaporative cooling of the water off the bird's beak, making it top heavy and dunking it back into the water. The condensate rejoins the liquid pool in the bird's bulb, and he tips up again. Process continues indefinitely. It works, but it's not any more than moderately well made, and not any more than moderately priced. WARNING! The fluid and dye inside the bird can permanently stain, and the bird's glass body can easily be broken. Children are fascinated by the bobbing bird, and the educational possibilities are great. But they should watch it, not fondle it!!

It's a dolling little patio set, perfect for the dollhouse patio. The (4) 3" high armchairs surround a 2-3/4" high x 3-1/2" dia table. The pieces are formed from white-painted steel wire for a lacy, miniature-wicker appearance. Here's a great big (8-foot x 6-foot when inflated) hot air balloon, of lightweight vinyl in colorful stripes just like the full-sized ones, but with a spool of nylon monofilament so you can tether it and fly it again tomorrow instead of chasing it down the block. Newspaper Sudoku not tough enough for you? You show-off. Try solving the Sudokube®, the evil spawn of a rogue Rubik's Cube® and a wayward Sudoku maiden. You twist away at the 2" x 2" black-and-white plastic cube, until each of the (6) sides displays digits 1 through 9. Extra credit if they're all in the right order with the numbers facing the same way. Only took us 12 minutes, but we used a hacksaw and some epoxy. Packaging says it's "For Ages Over 5." Right.

Clever little mind teaser of the travel toy variety. A black plastic case, 3-1/4" x 3-5/8" x 3/8" holds (10) different brightly colored plastic blocks or shapes. Pick one of the shapes and place it in a corner of the holder. Then try to get the others to fit in. You can start with any of the shapes and there are over (60) solutions, so the little dears won't get too frustrated. Fun for the geometrically minded. Ages 6 and up.
