Sunprint® Kit
Sunprints (or cyanotypes, or photograms) are everyone's favorite photo-sensitivity experiment, from third-graders to graphic artists and fine artists. You pick: The Sunprinters are a dozen 3-15/16" square sheets of photosensitive paper, an acrylic backing sheet and instructions. The large Sunprint Kit has (15) sheets of 12" x 7-3/4" photosensitive paper plus a clear acrylic sheet of the same size. Great for classroom demonstrations, and can be used to make prints from photo negatives as well as interesting effects from opaque or translucent objects. All you add is sunshine and water.

Talking Bandages

The crime version is a box of (25) standard 3" bandages in an authentic bright yellow "crime scene do not cross" style. Every box also includes a little plastic, Cracker-Jacky-type toy.Our adhesive, photo-reproduction quality, pickle bandages will cover all of your gruesome gherkin cuts, or give you a quirky cover-up for your own sliced finger. The (15) individually sealed bandages are 3” x 1” and they come with a bonus, 1-1/4” long, rubber pickle with a frightened look on his (it’s?) face. The Codger's First Carving Set
Don't just sit on the porch, carve something. This starter set includes (6) carving tools (gouges, chisels, V-tool and knife) in a pouch, a sharpening stone, a basic instruction booklet and a 2-1/4" x 2" x 11-1/4" block of basswood. (About enough to make one fat letter opener or (4) very small ducks.) The back of the booklet refers you to websites with more instructions and carving patterns. No keyboard. No batteries. Make a little round picture frame, keychain fob or fridge magnet-or unleash your creative potential with this hot-melt bead kit. (Melt your name? Zodiac sign? Lucky number?) Comes with an assortment of (375) yellow, green, blue, black, white and red beads, 3/16" in dia and length, plus a 3-1/2" round plastic melting base, (4) templates, (1) small strip magnet and (2) short ball chains. You fuse the design with a regular household iron; just tell the kids to call you when they're ready to melt.

BYO To DIY
Do-it-yourself -- with some help from artist Gary Marshall. Trace his sample art (4 different designs) and follow his detailed instructions to create hand-painted cards. You supply the acrylic paint and brushes. Our each is (4) Strathmore 5" x 6-7/8" blank cards -- heavy, cream-colored card stock with dark blue deckle edges -- and (2) matching envelopes. If you're really good at this and mail your first (2), you can always paint on the undeckled side of the (2) extra cards and frame them.
