Artist's Brushes
Maybe a little eclectic for an artist with a single style, but perfect for one who's still searching for himself. Or for any hobbyist. There are no (2) brushes exactly alike in this set of (15). They all have natural bristles, color-coded wooden handles and metal ferrules, but they range from fairly fine to 1/2" wide, and 7" to 10" long. There are at least (3) different kinds of bristles, and they are round, blunt and pointed. A nice variety, and a very nice quality for this price.

Take The Plunge
Nice big, 60cc/2+ oz, polypropylene syringe is graduated in 5cc and 1/2 oz increments. Plunger has a black rubber gasket and a thumb ring at the top. Measures 6-1/2" long overall with a 1-7/16" x 5/32" ID nozzle with a cap. Handy in the shop, kitchen or craft room for gluing or decorating.

Break Your Own Geodes

Pop one of these roughly 1-1/4" dia stones into the toe of a sock, smash it with a hammer, and be the first person ever to see your real-as-Nature-makes-it geode!! Ninety percent of them have the familiar beautiful white crystals inside. Formed by volcanic action, they are found all over the world, but ours are from Mexico. There is no way to tell from the outside if they have crystal centers, but we will send you two just to raise your odds, and we haven't had a dud yet in our stores!! Much much more fun and satisfaction than buying one already cracked.

Silhouettes, silhouettes, silhouettes, silhouettes…on the shade if you want to stick them there, but you can put these die-cut plastic human silhouettes anywhere you like. They're short-haired but otherwise androgynous, with feet in ballet position one and arms semi-spread, in something of a "who, me?" stance. They stand 8-3/4" tall, lightweight enough to be scissored into a more feminine shape if you're into fashion cut-outs, but sturdy enough to stand up to a lot of play. Most will be black but you may get a few white ones. Dolls? Paper-dress models? Art projects.

Got Plastic Slivers?
Try plastic tweezers. Joke. But you do need this pair of 5" long plastic tweezers, with serrated jaws and tips that taper to 1/16" wide points, for electronics applications (no fear of magnetization). The blue-plastic and red-plastic tweezers are safer for kids' crafts classes and school projects, too, and mighty affordable at less than 35 cents each.

Cut Right To It
This all-purpose scissors is the favorite of everyone at A.S.&S.: Pat uses his to cut and strip wire. C.J. uses his to slit the tape on packages. Mary Ann uses hers to open bags of pretzels. It's 6-1/4" long overall, with a very sharp 2" stainless steel blade and large, comfortable handles. It would sell for $9.95 retail if it was new, but it was used for one day to cut cloth in the assembly plant of a major car company, then discarded. Quality control is a wonderful thing.

Big Syringe
For things that should come inside applicators but don't, we are proud to present our 50cc disposable plastic syringe. That 50cc equals approx 1-2/3 oz, but it will actually hold 2+ oz. It's marked in 2cc increments and measures 4-7/8" long x 1-1/4" dia with an offset 7/16" long x 3/16" OD x 1/16" ID nozzle. Doubles as a cake decorator.

A beautiful set of (18) natural-bristle artists brushes with 12" long wood handles. Our each is (9) flat and (9) round brushes, in sizes from #1 to #8, plus #10. They come in a roll-up, natural canvas case with a self-tie. We'd point out what a ridiculously low price this is, and what excellent quality, but then the guys in our purchasing department would get swollen heads and start demanding more than minimum wage.
