Chenille-Covered Wires
Pipe cleaners. Bendable wires, 5-1/2" long, covered with white chenille. Each package is a little bundle of (3), so (50) packages give you 150 pipe cleaners, and (1000) packages give you 3000! White chenille, by the way, is only used for pipe cleaners and your grandmother's bedspread. And of the pipe cleaners, only .002% are ever used to clean pipes. Think crafts!

(Locking) Syringes
Or sort-of-locking. Push the plunger down and they lock in place, but push the 1/8" nipple down on a hard surface and they'll unlock for re-use. Handy in the shop or craft room for oil, grease, paints, and glues. (Also quite useful for getting liquid medication into the dog.) They measure 3-1/2" long x 9/16" dia and hold 5ml, are graduated in .2ml increments, and have threaded tops. Note the throwaway price.

Lovely Hues

These are gels, actually, for low-wattage lighting applications, but for your purposes they're probably just 8" x 10" sheets of colored acetate in lovely hues just waiting for crafty applications. Magnehesive Tape
The ultimate in refrigerator-door decorating: a 25-foot x 3/4" wide roll of dark brown magnetic tape in a handy dispenser with a tear-off bar. Rip off a strip of tape, stick the sticky side to a photo, art project, or note and the magnetic side will hold it on a refrigerator door, file cabinet, or any other steel surface. Light duty, like all fridge magnets, so stick to notes and pix and other fluff.

This clever little artist's brush holder/cleaner will keep those oil or watercolor brushes standing up (or down) straight with their little heads under water or paint thinner, clean and un-bent until you need them. A 4" dia x 2" deep aluminum cup is topped by a 6" tall U-shaped handle with a brush-holding spring across the top. Inside the cup is a mesh screen (with its own handle) for to clean the paint off and let it settle to the bottom, away from the bristles. The handle is removable for storage or travel.

Translucent plastic, no-needle syringes. You pick between the medium (30cc / 1 oz. Measures 5-1/2" long compressed x 3/4" dia with an offset 1/16" ID outlet) or the large (60cc / 2 oz. Measures 6-1/2" long compressed x 1-1/4" dia with an offset 1/16" outlet). Handy in the lab, workshop, kitchen and craft room, but you could also attach one of these to the head of your favorite teddy bear and have a furry with a syringe on top. (We're sorry. Needle File Set
Miniature 5–1/2" steel needle files. They come in the usual assortment of flat, wedge, triangular, and round shapes, (10) in all. They seem to be pretty uniformly fine with none that we would call coarse. Made in China, they come in a vinyl carrying case that snaps shut. Not as classy as some of the sets we have seen in the $12.00 range, but perfectly serviceable for most applications. And at a third the price.
