Kudos to the customer who knows what these are. (Quick - cover up the rest of this write-up while you look at the picture!) They're big oval suction cups of solid but flexible white rubber. Molded cylinders rising from them are about 1" deep x 1-1/4" od. The insides are threaded, a standard plunger size. The double sucker with (2) cylinders is 4" x 7-1/4". The triple, with (3), is 4-5/8" x 9-3/4". Candle holders for sailboats? Antler holders for reindeer costumes? Dime collectors for dashboards? Okay. Okay. They're made to grab onto the bottom of a bar sink and hold fat brushes with threaded handles. A quick twist of an upside-down beer glass, and it's washed. We liked the antler idea better.

Rare earth magnets are usually killers for their size, and these thick discs are no exception. The price, on the other hand, for (3) 7/16" dia x 1/4" 5-lb lift or (2) 9/16” dia x 3/16” 8-lb lift magnets each stored on a 2" dia steel disc, is a rare exception.

You don't? Well tie something else down with this 500-foot spool of 3/4" wide x 1/32" thick super-strong olive-drab webbing. A slow hurricane season put it in our hands (yes, it really is palm tree tie-down stuff), but with 800-lb tensile strength, UV inhibitors and wet-weather resistance, we figure it's uber-useful for anyone who needs narrow, tough, outdoor web material for custom tie-downs, belts, rope, slings, repairs, whatever. It's like WD-40 or duct tape, my friend: someday you're going to be awfully glad you had it in the trunk.

An AS&S first: giant sheets of neoprene foam padding with one very reflective, tough, non-conductive, lightly textured silver foil surface. We think it was originally for military use, but we know it's absolutely perfect for making a tin man or robot costume, or lining your bedroom and reflecting those annoying radio signals from Venus. Our each is a 42" x 56" sheet that's a generous 1/8" thick. Warning: If you want this stuff, don't procrastinate-it's going to fly out the door!

Our each is a pack of (4) 12" X 12" light brown cork tiles, approx 7/32" thick. Easy to mount with the included double-sided tape squares. Great for custom bulletin boards, but just as ducky for lining drawers for crystal, creating coasters, protecting wood surfaces, sound-proofing rooms, or making bespoke dart-boards.

We bought these from a blind man. No, no, from a blinds man, overstock from a company that manufactures venetian blinds. They’re undrilled (no holes) and modelers/hobbbyists will swoon at these prices. Luckily, we’ve got approximately 32 gazillion of them, all in beautiful, clear basswood, all primed white. They’re 3/8” thick, available 2-1/2” or 3-1/2” wide in varying lengths listed below, all perfectly smooth and flat, with slightly rounded edges. You want longer? Call us. We’ve got lots up to 8-feet long. At these prices you can afford to glue them up into laminated blocks and carve out any shape you like. It’s the model shop/art studio/wood shop deal of the year. Note: This item is not eligible for Expedited Shipping or delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, or the Territories.

Pick up this 1-3/4" x 7/8" x 3/8" ceramic pick-up magnet while we still have it. It's in a heavy metal housing and has a stationary metal hoop, about 1/2" i.d., on top. The manufacturer tells us the magnet will grab up to 30 lbs of metal, and while Pat wouldn't bet on anything over 20 lbs, it's still very strong. Especially if you're going to dangle it on the end of a cord to gather spilled nails or to fish your keys out of the lake/pond/sewer/drain!

Stop picturing a fat cable you can use to tie down an airplane. This is great 20–strand twisted cable from the aircraft industry, but at 1/16” dia, it’s sized more for a Chicago Cub than a Piper Cub. The cable is high–quality stainless steel, unjacketed and very strong. Use it to hang extremely heavy mirrors, make repairs, create bendable metal sculptures! Order in 15–foot or 100–foot hanks. Enjoy!

What’s faster, neater and less permanent than paint? Self-adhesive vinyl! Peel the backing off these 10 ft rolls of 15” wide vinyl to cover shelves, make signs, turn that avocado refrigerator into a classy black. The bold solid colors include Black, Olympic Blue, Bright Orange, Sunflower Yellow and Tomato Red. At 3 mil, it has enough body to make it easy to handle if you have basic motor skills. If you can’t handle it, call your old gym teacher, not us. We have enough trouble with our own motors.

What’s left of a Kansas City cow after all the steaks are gone? Lots of leather! (Think buckskin, not biker jacket.) You choose from: 1) The one-piece Lace Leather Belly. Really more of a long half-belly, this solid piece of leather is between 2-1/2 and 3-1/2 sq feet. Ours was black, approx 10-1/2” wide x 53” long x 1/8” thick. 2) A pack of Leather Strips. Ours was a very assorted 2 lbs of strips and larger pieces of leather, 1/16” to 1/8” thick, in rust and brown. 3) The Farmer Bundle Repair Bag, 2 lbs of scraps in various colors. Ours contained a solid 12” x 8” black piece and a very large bundle of brown leather thongs 47” long x approx 1/8” square. Lots of variety, and lots of heavy leather for the price.

A neat bag-o-wood, suitable for model-making, art projects and hobbies of all sorts. The balsa bag weighs almost 3/4 of a pound, and is a random assortment of balsa that may range from 1/8" square strips to a 5" long x 2" square hunk, and lots in between. The basswood may have half a dozen 5" long x 2" square pieces, 8" x 3" sheets, and a whole bunch of 1/16" to 1/8" strips. Whatever the variety of sizes, either bag will total approx 72 cubic inches in all, which is more than it sounds like.
