Just leave bread in a damp place. Or buy this stuff and make casts of solid objects, anything from faces and fingers to celery and crucifixes, with quick-setting Instamold. (We'll sell you 10 oz. of the Instamold compound, but you provide the water to mix it with.) Then fill the molds you've made with plaster, wax, or Permastone-yes, we sell Permastone too. It's an extremely strong casting medium with a clean white hue when set, waterproof and scratch resistant. Each can we sell has 1-3/4 lbs. of Permastone, to be mixed with water.

Shrink Plastic
Incredible stuff!! And even better than those dinky cutouts you used to make! Our each is a pack of (8) 8" x 10-1/2" shrinking plastic sheets that start clear and stay clear. Draw a design, write a message, create a sign, whatever. Cut it out, bake it in a 350° oven for about 3 minutes, and it shrinks to 45% of its original size. Problem with certain pencils and markers on the slick sheets? Try a light sanding (320-400 grit) before writing on it. (The surface will be more opaque.) What a fun way to make small errors become insignificant!

Wow, we have 8 oz bars of Super Elasticlay, a polymer clay from those crafty guys who brought you Sculpey(tm). Create a push mold, bake it in your home oven, and voila! It retains its shape so that you can use it as a mold, but stays soft enough to pop out those Sculpey or plaster clones. Use it for flexible toys and sculptures, too. A nice statue of your significant other, maybe, that will bend to your every whim.

Sculpey Super Flex
A neat modeling medium that is like clay but better - much, much better. It is a non-toxic polymer that remains soft, pliable and moldable even when exposed to air, until it is baked in the oven. After that, while it holds its shape, it is flexible and relatively unbreakable. Ridgid Wrap
For papier mache modeling, of course. You get a 4"wide x 180" long roll of plaster-coated cloth; wet it, wrap it, and dry it until it's rigid. Finish it with paint or shellac or whatever. "Takes all finishes" the package trumpets. And it's non-toxic, so don't be bashful about rigid-wrapping yourself.

Clay Now, Bronze Later
Even Michaelangelo started with clay. He probably didn't have 6" x 2-1/4" x 1/4" slabs of non-hardening, nontoxic modeling clay in red, blue, green and yellow, though. For the younger set (ages 4 and up) the makers of Sculpey(tm) offer non-drying modeling clay. (5) 4-1/2" x 1" x 3/4" sticks equal a full pound to pound on and roll out and squeeze. Mix sticks (one each of blue, red, yellow, green and white) for a rainbow of colors. Use it over and over. It never dries out.
