You get almost 600 feet of jute twine in (2) 295-foot spools. It's brown (because it's jute) and approx 3/32" dia. For tying stuff up in general, but particularly good for gardeners because jute is all natural and degrades well, so instead of calling it brown, one might say it was green!

AIRCRAFT CABLE
Stop picturing a fat cable you can use to tie down an airplane. This is great 20–strand twisted cable from the aircraft industry, but at 1/16” dia, it’s sized more for a Chicago Cub than a Piper Cub. Suitable for holding pretty much anything, including Samoan linebackers' dreadlocks. You get a package of (45) in assorted colors including black, red, blue, green and gold.

Our each is a bag of (30) typical 5/16" dia stretch cords with metal hooks at the ends, (10) of each size: 12" red, 18" blue, and 24" green. Stretch your imagination, count all the stuff you tighten with a bungee cord, and you'll still have some left over. Good thing, the way you keep losing them.

The Bigger Bungee
Mega-bungee cords. Just the ticket for tying down motorcycles, refrigerators, or large marsupials. (Tie your kangaroo down, boys!) Our each is a package of (10) of these monsters, approx 1/2" dia x 6-feet long, in black with green accents (colors may change), with 1" x 2-1/2" hooks on both ends. That's just over a buck apiece. That's what it says on the label, but we don't get it either. We think it's just good quality nylon cord at a bargain. We offer a package of (4) spools (with 1-1/2" long spindles), each with 25 feet of .015" thick, 27-lb test nylon cord. Don't feel obligated to retrieve bait with it.

Shiny brass chain of the sash persuasion. Light duty and only 1 ft long, Purchasing says it is for industrial doll houses. Over here in Editorial, we believe less and less of what Purchasing tells us. So we suggest you use it to secure the chuck key to a tool, a roll of electric tape to your belt, or someone from Purchasing to his cubicle. (They are all quite puny.)

Well, yes, it will tie up a pretty substantial pet (the working load is 211 lbs) but it's really rope made from recycled P.E.T. (polyethylene terephthalate) plastic bottles, by a small Brazilian community of 380 people. You get 50 feet of 1/4" dia braided monofilament rope, 4X more resistant to UVA/UVB rays than polypropylene. Assorted colors, our choice.

So we have this carefully designed white-plastic ... thingy. It is approx 1/8" thick x 2" square OA and somewhat J-shaped. Six feet of lightweight string with a small metal "T" on the end can be wrapped around it or attached to it. It's just the right size to hook under a railing or table edge to anchor a helium balloon, or to hook over the top edge of your cubicle if you have some teeny-weeny person who wants to rappel down your office wall. Or ....
