Flexible, strong and wiry. No, not one of those guys who climbs rock walls for fun. We're talking about our roll of 24-gauge (.023") solid wire that we believe is stainless-steel. Perfect for the workshop, and a nice weight for hobbies from bead-stringing to wreath-making. We'll clip off 20 ft to share with you.

Bird Yarns
Fowl stories? No. These are 1.76-oz (70-yard) skeins of 65% acrylic/35% nylon yarn that mimic the variegated colors on some of our favorite feathered friends. The extremely soft, downy Caron yarns are from the Feathers collection. Meadowlark has fine strands of black, blue, magenta, yellow, light green, and pink integrated throughout. Seagull is grey and black. Purple Finch is purple, of course, with orange, red, and yellow contributing to an overall rust color. Night Heron has purple, black and Marge Simpson blue fibers. Sandpiper is a soft off-white with beige highlights. All are bulky weight and made in Italy, and all come with instructions. Make sweaters for the birds that drop by the feeder, or knit your own aviary.

Rainbow Fabric...Tape...Stuff
What is it? It's called Ticker Tape™, and it's a velvety nylon fabric, slightly stretchy and yarn-like, but flat, like tape. And light enough to be crocheted, we think. Cold-water washable. And it's from Italy, so it's really pretty. Whatever it is, it's by Moda-Dea™ and mighty craft-friendly. Approx 1/4" wide, you'll get (67) yards of it that segue through a series of hues. The Tropical Tape runs through leaf-green/yellow-gold/red-orange/orchid. The Festival Tape morphs through purple/red/turquoise. The Charade Tape blends red/green/orange/blue/purple.

Fun With Iron Filings
Messy fun, you’ll agree, if you've ever seen kids playing with magnets and iron filings, or sharing them in a science class. Avoid a mess with our clear flat acrylic case with loose iron filings (a teaspoonful?) sealed inside. Maneuver a magnet outside the 3-3/4" x 2-5/8" x 1/4" thick case and the filings do what filings do in a magnetic field. When the fun wears off, just pop the case in a drawer and you're all cleaned up! Clever. If you feel the need to let your iron filings run free, we offer them in bulk. Our each is 3/8 oz, which is approx 146 gazillion filings, and pure hell to clean up unless you have one of our handy-dandy aforementioned magnets!

Bows Arts Bonanza
We can't begin to describe these Fancy Findings -- this variety of small (an inch or two or three) bows, ribbons, loops, tassels, beads on ribbons, tassels on beads, little fabric flowers, lace thingies, like that, in dozens of colors. Glue 'em to barrettes, create a riot of ponytail holders, tack 'em on stuff, sew 'em together, take 'em apart-it's like a garment district remnant sale in a sack. Great for chokes, toroids, RFI suppression and much more. Our ferrite cores are attracted to magnets, but are not magnetic themselves. Edges are slightly beveled. 29122 is 1" O.D. x 5/8" I.D. x 1/4" thick. 35235 is 3/4" O.D. x 7/16" I.D. x 1–1/8" thick. 29180 is 1/2" O.D. x 1/4" I.D x 3/16"thick.

Terry Cloth Pipe Cleaners
There are (20) in a pack, and we're bundling together (3) packs of 12" blue pipe cleaners. (I know. You think I'm going to say these are for cleaning blue pipes. Forget it. That's just too easy. What do you think I am? Some hack writer who has no pride? Okay, so I am - but I'm still not going with the blue pipes.) I suggest, rather, that the color of these 8 mm terry cloth pipe cleaners is perfect for weaving into one of those cheap blue terry cloth bathrobes. So there!

White Vinyl Tape
Specially made in the U.S. for some special purpose. Must have been. Stands to reason. If you know, call us. Meanwhile, it's nice-very white, very teflon and comes in a 50-yard roll, 1" wide x .011' thick, wound on a 3" plastic core. But it's not adhesive. Buy it for ribbons on waterproof birthday presents; wrap bicycle handlebars; decorate homecoming floats; make bows for outdoor holiday tree-trimming, tie up floppy plants; make water-resistant mummies (check local ordinances first). Or just buy it-you'll think of something, clever person like you.

For our most creative customers only. We have this rather large box full of blood pressure cuffs. No tubes, no dials, just cuffs. They are 5" to 6" wide, about 22" long, all adjustable with standard hook-and-loop closures. Some are nylon, some are imitation leather. Some have zipper compartments, apparently to tuck your medical notes in. Some don't. No promises.

Hose Gaskets
Get a whole bunch of these: they'll fit perfectly in your garden hose. Black rubber gaskets are 1/8" thick, 1-1/16" OD, 3/4" ID. Or try them for model wheels, art projects, or really cheap (and ugly!) wedding bands.

Dandy Humanoid Foot
Dark-gray speckled plastic composition, this foot might be a shoemaker's model. Or it might be a petrified alien foot. Measures 9-5/8" long x 3-5/8" tall at the severed ankle. Right feet only, men's size 8-9, they say. Has a separation only between the big toe and the next one, but it's exactly the right size to function as a very odd cigarette holder. Local musicians also tell us that when hit with a drumstick it replicates perfectly a wood-block sound. It's hollow, but with a thick wall, so could probably be tapped for a thread if you're mounting it or making a person.
