Surplus - with a silver lining! We have almost half a hundred rolls of 18-1/2" wide mylar film, the shiny side printed with a variety of balloon designs - happy birthday, happy retirement, happy other things - and a matte silver finish on the other (picture the two sides of aluminum foil). We'll send you a roll of 20 ft. Lots of craft-project potential. Start with a shiny birthday kite. Move onto hand-made hair scrunchies. Kowabonga! Magnets
Hard to separate, and then they keep jumping back together, on account of they have the strength of ten in their tiny bodies. This set is a 25-piece grouping of neodymium (rare earth) magnets, including a dozen 3/16" long x 3/16" dia brass-colored cylinders, a half-dozen 3/16" dia balls, and (7) 3/8" long x 3/16" square plated pieces. The largest have approx a pound and a half of pull, which is where the kowabonga! comes in. Includes a clear-plastic storage tube with rubber end caps.

Flat Marbles
They look like glass marbles that were dropped on a cold slab when the glass was molten. Hence they have a flattened blob shape, about 1/4" thick and as big as 1" x 3/4" or as small as 1/2" dia. across. All are translucent, except for white, which is solid white. Talented folk use them in flower arrangements, to fill a jar or glass as decoration or for similar tasteful purposes. The rest of us use them for joke marbles, non-jumping tiddlywinks and board game pieces. Our each is a bag of (100) marbles.

Horseshoe Magnet
Assuming a diminutive horse. Not very strong, but just right, and just the right price, for science classes. This is the classic cartoon magnet shape in a small version: 1-1/2" long x 1-7/16" wide x 1/4" thick, with 5/16" wide legs marked for polarity. You get a package of (10) magnets for $3.50.

Egg McChameleon
Another gem plucked from the A.S.&S. mirabilia. The shape and size of a hen egg, this opaque stone (or matte-finished glass - we're not sure which) is interesting in itself. Touched with a red penlight in a dark room, the entire egg becomes a brilliant ruby color. Blue light/blue egg, etc. Fun and fascinating, and with a little sleight of hand, a sure way to convince the plebeians that you have some mysterious metaphysical power.

Copper Electrode
OK, it's a strip of copper 5-3/16" long x 3/4" wide x .041" thick, but CJ says if you "take this, a zinc electrode and a grapefruit to the science fair, you get at least a C." Equally useful for crafters and jewelry makers.

They’re undrilled (no holes) and modelers/hobbbyists will swoon at these prices. Luckily, we’ve got approximately 32 gazillion of them, all in beautiful, clear basswood, all primed white. They’re 3/8” thick, 2-1/2” wide X 36" long and all perfectly smooth and flat, with slightly rounded edges. You want longer? Call us. We’ve got lots up to 8-feet long. At these prices you can afford to glue them up into laminated blocks and carve out any shape you like. It’s the model shop/art studio/wood shop deal of the year.

Iron-on Canvas
These here are made for repairing tents after critters tried to get inside or somebody bent over too fast with a machete in his belt. Iron these 10" x 2" off-white canvas strips over the hole and yer tent's like new, almost. Pants too, if you've got off-white canvas britches. Make good iron-on name tags, if you've got a big name, or you could cut 'em up. And remember to put the shiny side down. That'd be true about most things, in our experience.
