DIY Fridge Magnets
Start with a 42" x 3/4" x 1/32" thick strip magnet-refrigerator-magnet strength-with dark blue or white vinyl facing (we'll pick, but more are blue, and either color could be peeled off the black magnet with a little effort). Then get a contrasting marker, a pair of scissors, and make your own fridge stick-ups. (We found this particularly useful for personalized, threatening messages on the office ice box.)

Mighty Attractive Quarter
Just a touch larger than a quarter, actually, but pretty close, this magnet is something of a mighty-mite. Our 1" dia x 1/8" thick neodymium disc has a 7-lb lift, which means you can hang some pretty hefty stuff on your refrigerator door. Just don't put the magnet directly on the fridge, or you're going to have to slide it across it to get it off and, sorry, but we don't refinish the finish if you scratch it!

Underachiever Of The Year
Finally, an award for people who haven't accomplished anything. Some folks might think this very high quality black laminated plaque with a high-gloss acrylic coating over the blank front is perfect for laser engraving, painting, or having a brass plaque mounted to it. And it is. That's what it's made for, in fact, but it's awfully tempting as an award for folks who, well, are something of a blank slate. Or black hole. But that's just us -- you decide. It's particle board 7" x 9" x 5/8" thick OA with an 8" x 6" display surface. The back has keyed slots to hang it in a portrait or landscape orientation. Made in the USA.

We Felt Your Need
And we've got a whole bunch of felt for your needs. You get (36) gray polyester felt discs, a dozen each of (3) sizes, all 1/16" thick. Discs are 4-11/16" dia, 6-1/8" dia, and 10-1/8" dia. They're made to be plate protectors (layered between china) for which they'd be dandy, but they're ready for endless other uses. Make furniture pads or glides, create your own elephant, sew gray flannel suits for miniature advertising executives, tailor patchwork pants for the hubby, or just use them as the world's safest frisbies.

Celestial Inspiration
WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD-Small Parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.
The planets. You can own them. These wood balls with holes drilled in them (but not through them) were meant to be planets and moons for a solar system model. Do it yourself. You and your kids will learn a lot more than if you bought a kit that does all the thinking for you. Some balls are painted bright colors, some are varnished natural wood. Most have at least one 1/4" hole, some have smaller holes. They could also be joints and/or finials for some kind of dowel construction. Nothing to stop you from drilling new holes for a truly custom project.

Assorted Beads
Glass beads, German, 0.055" diameter, the kind you glue on to for a sparkly finish. These do not have holes in them. Craft stores sell tubes of these beads for $4.00 per tube or about $3.35 per oz. Ours come in little baggies, but you only have to pay $.875 per oz. And you don't have to choose a color, because we're sending you (10) 1 ounce packages, which will include clear plus at least six (6) different colors from a selection of orange, yellow, aqua, green, blue, bright blue, lavender, pink, fuchsia, purple and black.
