Skinny-Nose Stripper
For those tight spots, when a regular stripper's nose gets in the way. These carbon-steel wire pliers are 6-1/4" long, with serrated tips and a narrow nose. They lock closed and have a rubber-coated handle, plus a thumb lock to set the wire gauge from 12 to 24 AWG. (Dumb error that turned these into surplus? The box is marked 10 to 24 AWG.)

This 11-piece multi-handy gizmo has a 6" long handle that locks straight or at a 45° angle and accepts (2) 6" long saw blades (metal and wood) as well as a 4" long magnetic bit holder with (2) square, (3) Phillips, and (2) flathead screwdriver heads that store in the screw-off handle. (Most liquid-crystal thermometers are limited to a 60° to 90° range.) Buy a pair and stick one each on your rear-view and side-view mirrors to measure the temperature on both sides of your car, or any other place you need an unobtrusive weather instrument. AKA automatic stripper. Sorry folks, but this one strips insulation to reveal wire, not flesh. Which may still give you a charge, depending upon your hookup!! 6-1/2" Long with pliers type grip and automatic self-adjustment to strip wires from 0.2 to 6mm without damaging the wire says the manufacturer. We recommend use on 18 GA stranded, 22 GA solid wire or heavier as it will cut the wire of lighter weights. A second jaw is a cable cutter. Brand new, made in China. And very handy too, if you are doing anything with wiring.
