In a 6-pointed star shape, our palm-ratchet measures 2-3/4" across and a scant 11/16" thick. Takes 3/8" sockets. Mark Any Angle
This torpedo level not only indicates dead-on level with its vertical and horizontal bubbles, it has a floating 360° pointer to indicate the angle of any deviation. The 8" x 2-1/8" x 5/8" plastic level has a 5-3/4" long magnet embedded in its bottom edge, a hole from which to hang it for storage, and -- maybe -- some oily residue. The residue, if there, won't hurt it, and is the reason we can offer it at this incredible price. Just wipe it off, and smile.

Who's A Chiseler?
Could be you, as soon as this set of high-carbon-steel wood-carving chisels and gouges arrives. Handy for hobbyists and woodcarvers, and useful on the lathe. All have impact-resistant handles. The 13-piece set includes a 1-3/8" wide chisel; 3/8" bent V-tool; 7/16" V-tool; gouges at 15/32", 17/32", and 21/32"; bent gouges at 7/32" and 1/2"; a straight rasp and a bent rasp, both 7/16". The rasps are 6-3/4" and 7-3/8" long; all the other tools are 8-1/2" long. You also get 5-7/8" long x 2" x 1" double-grit sharpening stone, a 6" long x 1/2" dia carbide round, and a 3-square stone, all in a black canvas roll-up carrying pouch.

Granted, you'll need a fair-sized pocket, but this little tool set packs a lot of equipment (25 pieces) in a very small space. The 6" x 4" x 2" thick gray plastic box holds a 5-1/4" needle nose pliers; 4-1/2" side cutters; 4-3/4" tweezers; (5) different flathead jeweler's screwdrivers between 1.5 and 3mm plus a #0 Phillips; a 4-5/8" long plastic-handled driver and adapter with a 3" socket holder, #5, 6, and 8 sockets, (6) flathead bits, #s 1, 2, and 3 Phillips bits, T10, T15, and T20 torx bits. Skinny-Nose Stripper
For those tight spots, when a regular stripper's nose gets in the way. These carbon-steel wire pliers are 6-1/4" long, with serrated tips and a narrow nose. They lock closed and have a rubber-coated handle, plus a thumb lock to set the wire gauge from 12 to 24 AWG. (Dumb error that turned these into surplus? The box is marked 10 to 24 AWG.)

Howsabout A Saw-Driver
Or maybe a driver set with saws. Whatever. All we know is that we want one in our toolbox. This 11-piece multi-handy gizmo has a 6" long handle that locks straight or at a 45° angle and accepts (2) 6" long saw blades (metal and wood) as well as a 4" long magnetic bit holder with (2) square, (3) Phillips, and (2) flathead screwdriver heads that store in the screw-off handle. Twist-locks by hand, and will accept other standard reciprocating saw blades. Perfect for those little jobs when you can do the reciprocating yourself.

Drivers In A Disk
The flying saucer meets the screwdriver in these compact driver sets. The larger one is a 2-7/8" dia x 1" thick gray-plastic case with a pocket clip, and holds #3 and #4 flathead, #2 and #3 Phillips, #1 and #2 pozi, and #2 and #3 hex bits, plus a 2-1/4" long driver that fits into a port in the housing for leverage. The smaller one is a 2-piece red-plastic disk, 2" dia x 5/8" thick, with a 1-1/4" chain and a slip ring. It unsnaps to release #3 and #4 flathead and #1 and #2 Phillips bits which fit into a hex port in the housing. At this price, they're perfect for replacement bits, glove compartment, desk drawer, etc. Do handle them carefully, because the cases break easily.

Can't Hack It?
Well, get a hacksaw, for pity's sake. Ours is heavy-duty steel frame in yellow and black with a rubber-padded handgrip and a 12" x 1/2" x 24-teeth/inch blade. Has a second set of blade-mounting tabs for 45° cutting. Takes standard 12" replacements and has a quick-blade-change system. From Omaha Industrial Tools.
