Attach Anything!
You need this. Anybody who's ever made a third trip to the hardware store on the same day needs this. The (100) -- count 'em, (100) -- chrome vanadium driver and bit attachments include slotted, Phillips, square (Robertson) head, torx, hex and 12-point bits, plus security Phillips, torx and hex, and (4) different driver adapters (one of which, a super-cute cup-hook driver, has us oddly excited). They're all in a flip-top plastic case. How come it's surplus? If you turn it upside down and shake it, some of the bits fall out of their little size-marked slots. So don't do that. Or stick a thin sheet of foam inside it and all will be well.

Our Smallest Power Driver
Super-cute, super-handy. A diminutive 1-1/2" dia x 5" long in a dog-leg shape, it's small enough to tuck in a kitchen drawer. The reversible power driver runs on (2) "AAA" batteries (included) and has an extra Phillips and flat-head bit in the handle for small tasks. Rotates 100 rpm, which is faster than anyone should ever need, frankly.

Mini Driver
The manufacturer calls this an offset screwdriver set. We prefer to call it a mini ratchet, since it's a 1/4" drive ratchet that's only 4-3/8" long. It has a nice rubberized handle. It has a nice feel. And it comes with (1) #2 Phillips and (1) 3/16" slotted screwdriver bit. Very nice for the price.

Trio Of Pliers
Here's a handy set of pliers to start filling that toolbox. (Okay, the label says "Plier" but Pat's gonna give you two handles on each one. He's a prince.) The all-in-one Combo style has a blunt-nose flat jaw and a concave jaw, both knurled, and a side cutter. The (1) bent at the tip, have tapering 2-3/4" jaws and small side cutters. Insulated rubber handles. Not exquisitely machined, but functional, and as we said, handy.

End Cutter
Personally, we don't have an end we want cut off, but we do like this 6-1/2" long end cutter with extra-wide 1" jaws. And it's hard to beat drop-forged pliers of that size, or at this price.

Singer, songwriter, enchanting actress in "Good Will Hunting," "Owning Mahowny," and…what? Oh. Sorry. Not that Minnie Driver. This one is a really nice driver set, with a 4" long handle and a clutch that holds an extendable 4" steel shaft with a magnetic bit holder on the end. Includes (20) small steel bits, including flatheads 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3 and 4mm wide; #000, #00, #0, and #1 Phillips bits; a second set of Phillips bits at #0 and #1; and T5, T6, T7, T8, T9, T10, T15 and T20 torx bits, all 1" long with 1/8" hex shafts. Driver also comes with a nice storage case…but sadly, it didn't appear opposite David Duchovny in "Return to Me."

It's what Doc Holliday would have carried if he'd been a mechanic instead of a card sharp. Our little pistol-grip reversible ratchet driver is 5" long with a 2" long handle.
