Scrape Away
Nice design on this 8" long, red-plastic paint scraper. One end has a sharp 3" wide scraping blade with pointed corners and built-up sides to contain the scraped paint. The other end has a thumb depression for leverage, and a slightly-less-than-90° angled edge for getting into a corner without digging into the walls. Remember to throw one into the car for iced-up windows too tough for your regular snow brush.

Weird Brushes
A couple of nice little soft nylon brushes with odd mountings designed for a specialty tool. The more normal is a spiral brush similar to a bottle brush with 1" dia x 1" to 1-1/2" long bristle area (our choice) mounted on a roughly 2" long x 1/4" dia hex shaft mount it in a power drill as a high speed test tube brush?? The other has a roughly 1/2" x 2" bristle area, which is flat but with a little curve back at the end. This is mounted on the same type shaft. We see a possible application in a homemade shoe shining machine.

Storage Carrier Hanging Thingum
It's supposed to be a tool organizer for the garage or basement wall, but we like this sturdy gray-nylon-canvas and clear-vinyl hanging storage thingum for lots of other uses. It would function nicely on a closet or office wall or even on the back of a baby stroller (we'd use zip-ties to mount it there). Measures 24" x 16-1/2" wide and has (2) 6-1/2" x 6-1/2" x 9" deep pockets at the top plus a 14" wide x 8" x 9-1/2" deep pocket below that. It has metal corner inserts with keyhole slots in all four corners. Hang it full length, or fold it in half if it's not full.

Really Big Retriever
Like a 300-lb Labrador for the shop. Our ceramic lift magnet is mounted in a metal housing with swivel that will attach to a standard threaded broom handle or painter's pole. Will lift approx 65 pounds, enough to retrieve microwave ovens from storm sewers or pull a small outboard motor from the bottom of a lake. Maybe.

How Bright!
Extraordinarily bright for its size, much as you were as a kid, so it's only fitting that you buy at least a couple of these. The 3-1/2" x 1" dia flashlight is small, but its (9) LEDs throw a powerful beam. It's water resistant and shockproof, with a good-looking, gunmetal-colored aluminum body, no-roll design, push on/push off switch, and short woven loop for carrying or hanging it. It even includes the (3) "AAA" batteries it needs. Altogether a great little light.
