Multitasking Grinder
Give this adaptable Multigrinder a whirl, and we know you'll like it. It's heavy enough to stay put on its rubber feet, but small enough at 9-1/2" wide OA for you to move it to where you need it. The almost 3" dia wheels -- (1) for buffing, (1) for grinding -- are variable speed, up to 10,000 rpm. Best of all, it has a 31" flexible-shaft attachment with a 1/8" collet at the end. It accepts most Dremel®-type bits, and can save you the cost of a rotary tool. The 6-ft power cord has a 3-pronged grounded plug. Comes with detailed instructions for use and safety, and this reminder from A.S.&S. that you should tighten the wheels, if necessary, before using it, and always wear eye protection. It's not as strong as a big bench grinder, but it's a very cool hobby tool!

The fitted plastic carrying case 12" x 8-1/2" x 3-1/2" contains not only the 120VAC-powered 8,000-30,000 rpm mini grinder, but a stand with a C-clamp to mount it on a bench or table, a 3-ft extension shaft, and a good assortment of bits, grinding stones, cut-off wheels, etc, including collets to fit 1/8" and 1/16" bits. The telescoping stand extends from 10" to almost 22" and holds the tool above your work, while you grind, sand, cut, etc., with the tip of the convenient, easy-to-grip, flexible extension. A nice package, and a very nice gift for yourself, or for anyone who enjoys working with hobby tools.

Good Tweezers
This set of (6) tweezers is as useful as it looks daunting. The (6) stainless steel tweezers vary in size from 4-1/2" up to 7". Two of the tweezers have serated tips one is inverse, one has a slide latch and the others are straight flat tip. The set comes in a clear front plastic carrying case. And we do mean micro. Sizes #61 to #80 (yes, that is twenty different bits) which are from 0.013 to 0.038 inches diameter!! The big boys sell a set of similar bits (carbon steel, like ours) for about $30.00!! Maybe theirs aren't from China.

Gadgeteers, get out your charge card. This is an instrument you absolutely have to own. It reaches down below sofa cushions, inside piggy banks, into fish tanks, and past a gallbladder. Not simultaneously, of course. The slim stainless steel alligator forceps is 11" long OA, with a 2-1/2" angled handle and an 8-1/2" reach. It has small 5/8" long serrated jaws, delicate but tight, at the very tip! Better buy an extra. We guarantee people are going to "borrow" these if they see them.

A Bit Sharp
Restore the edges of dull drill bits right on your power drill with this 2-piece sharpener. It would take a long, dull description to explain how the (2) 4-1/4" long attachments work, but they grind the correct angles every time on carbon and high-speed 3.5 mm to 10 mm and 1/8" to 3/8" bits. And save someone's neck. This deeply textured safety tread is diamond-plate-pattern black rubber, 17" x 3-7/8" x 1/4" thick, with a peel-off self-adhesive back. It can be cut, but won't easily crack or tear. A great way to add traction to truck bumpers, RV steps, ladder steps, etc.
