Prick tiny bits of gunk from nasty places with these U.S. made hardened stainless steel dental tools. But please don't use them for dental work. They are slight seconds, and some may have been re-worked which only matters to teeth. Trim excess glue from models, place a barrel on the deck of the ship-in-a-bottle, clean a rasp. Butane Beauty
It's stylish, it's handy, it has a slightly menacing look to it, and-truth be told-it's a lot of fun. It's a handheld butane torch, great for everyone: in the lab, under the hood, working with circuitry, melting copper and other metals; heck, a chef can even use it to flambé the dessert. 6-1/4" tall, 3-5/8" x 2-1/4" dia base, 3-5/8" long at the top, with a textured grip, push-button start with safety, and air adjustment to control the size of the flame. Tap/Die Set

How Hot Is It?
Point this puppy at HVAC, industrial hygiene or other equipment, and find out. From Sper Scientific, this pen-type infrared thermometer has a range of -27°F to 428°F with 0.5° resolution, or -33°C to 220°C with 0.2° resolution. Accurate ± 2.5% or 2.5°C, whichever is greater. Pocket-clippable at 6" long x 1/2" dia, it also has a white LED with a latching push on/push off switch. Includes (1) "AAA" battery for the LED and (2) button cell batteries for the thermometer. A good-looking brushed steel and aluminum, it comes in a brushed steel case. Useful from the lab to the kitchen, and fun, CJ says, for adults of all ages.

Oral Doser
These small plastic syringes with nozzle caps were made for squirting oral medications into the mouths of babes, or anyone else who has trouble with teaspoons, but they've got plenty of other uses in the kitchen, lab, workshop or craft room as measuring devices and applicators. Each is 3-1/3" long x 5/8" dia with a 1.5mm ID and a 4.5mm OD, and is calibrated to measure 2 tsp in 1/2 tsp increments or 10mL in .2mL increments.
