Now Cut That Out!
When a saber saw and a router get jiggy, the offspring is a cut-out saw, capable of things neither parent is good at. Cut-out saws use spiral bits to make precise cuts in drywall, plywood, plastic and laminates. Ours has a thumbwheel speed adjustment (15K to 30K rpm), both 1/8 and 1/4" collets, depth-gauge lock, and cutting guides for electrical boxes and circles from 4" to 12" dia. Includes 1/8" and 1/4" drywall bits and a collet wrench, and will accept RotoZip" accessories. Measures 9-3/8" x 5-3/8" x 3" with a 6-foot power cord.

Substantial Carpenter's Belt
Our heavy-duty 2" wide suede leather tool belt with a two-tang buckle is made for a carpenter of substance, with a 34" to 50" waist. It has two sections of pockets, both with pouches 7" x 6", 4-1/2" square, and 5" x 2-1/2", plus (2) pencil pouches. Also has a hammer hanger, a 2-1/2" leather loop, screwdriver holster and tape-measure clip. Why so cheap for a belt that normally sells for $30? Because where the tangs go through the leather, some of the nonessential rivets may be missing or too short. Ya gotta love surplus!

Positioner/Holder
A fine concept and pretty successful execution. Weighted bases hold fully adjustable clips and lenses for delicate hands–free work. The Helping Hand w/solder has a 2” high base connected to (2) alligator clips via (3) universal joints and a 4–1/2" sliding beam, and to a 2–1/2" dia roughly 3X magnifier via another universal joint on the sliding beam. It also adds a holder for your soldering iron, plus a hole and thumbscrew in the base to firmly position it. The larger Work Stand has a 3–1/2” x 4–3/4” stand with a 2–3/4” square x 3/8” deep reservoir to hold small parts, an L–shaped sliding beam with (2) alligator clips, and another L-shaped beam with a 3–1/2” lens, about 4X magnification. Joints adjust every which way. The set screws can all be hand–tightened, but we suggest a small pliers to secure the hefty 4X lens. Think of the clips as extra hands to hold wires, components, beads, what-have-you while you perform some operation on them with your own two hands.

All together now, boys and girls, can you say BARGAIN? A bonanza assortment of (100) 1/8" shank rotary tool attachments: wheels, brushes, stones, sanding wheels, buffing pads, and sundry other stuff. All in a nice wooden box with the latch on upside down-so write "top" on the top. Is that why it's here? That, and the cardboard sleeve that tells us to heed an "importan" warning.

Get Tight In All The Corners
Clever is when some very simple product solves a very annoying, common problem. In this case, it's getting the masking tape to fit into the corners of window glass and over hinges for painting, without leaving gaps or having to trim with a utility knife. Enter Scotch-Blue" Painter's Tape for Corners & Hinges, from 3M", a roll of (60) 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" blue masking tape rectangles that fit corners perfectly. Each piece is perforated in the middle. When you separate the halves, each section has two 90° corners, one slightly curved corner (if you look closely), and one large curved corner to help with application and removal. Clever.

Old Codger's Carving Set
Not an old codger? Get an early start. This was made for sitting on the porch, carving family heirlooms after supper. The pressboard case holds a 6-piece wood carving set with (3) small straight gouges, (1) straight chisel, (1) V-gouge and (1) skew chisel. All are approx 5" long, with wooden handles. Be even better if you used them while an old dog was asleep at your feet, but we don't sell old dogs.

(Locking) Syringes
Or sort-of-locking. Push the plunger down and they lock in place, but push the 1/8" nipple down on a hard surface and they'll unlock for re-use. Handy in the shop or craft room for oil, grease, paints, and glues. (Also quite useful for getting liquid medication into the dog.) They measure 3-1/2" long x 9/16" dia and hold 5ml, are graduated in .2ml increments, and have threaded tops. Note the throwaway price.

Behind in your filing? Grab these hardened and tempered steel files and catch up on that backlog. You get (2) plastic handles to fit the (2) 6" and 8" flat rectangular mill files, and the 6" triangular slim-taper file and 8" half-round. These are new but surplus and they may have slight rust spots, and need a light cleanup with machine oil.
