Relays
PC–mount relays manufactured in faraway places for major American companies. It is a 6 PDT relay. It has leads and a ground lug on the bottom. The Omron #0777H1 is an open–frame SPST relay with leads on the bottom.

Rotary Solenoid
Means "pipe-shaped," by the way, does "solenoid." (The French made it up, from the Greek. Just thought you might be curious.) This version is small, measuring 1-1/8" dia x 3/8" thick, with a flattened shaft. The shaft rotates approx 20 degrees ccw. Draws 250mA at 24VDC (fires at 18 VDC). Two mounting bolts, 5/16" long x 1/16" - 48, are alongside the shaft, and it has (2) 5" leads and a 2-pin Molex connector.

High Power Relay
A big guy. This chassis-mounted relay is rated for 30A at 300VAC, 15A at 600VAC, 25A at 28VDC, 1 hp at 120VAC, and 2 hp at 240VAC. Coil will draw approx 40mA at 120VAC, and needs at least 80VAC to engage the (2) sets of SPST contacts. Measures 2" x 1-3/8" x 1-1/2" with 1/4" Q/D terminals on the bottom and a 1/8"-32 mounting hole and a mounting tab on one side. Deltrol part number 23063-70

Pulsations Made Easy
with this small pull-type solenoid. Draws 600mA at 12VDC. Measures 1-1/8" long x 3/4" x 7/8" with (2) quick-disconnect terminals at the bottom back of the coil. The plunger is 5/16" dia counting the U-bracket at the end. When not energized the relay has a 2.24 lb holding force and when energized approx. a 10-lb pull, strong for its size, but rated for pulse duty. Made in the USA.

Here's a nice, strong pull-type solenoid that draws approx 1/2A at 24VDC, with an estimated strength of 40-50lbs. Rated for continuous duty. Coil housing measures 2-1/8" tall x 1-5/8" x 1-3/8" with a plunger that's 3-1/4" long x 1/2" dia with a 1/2" slot and 1/8" bores. Coil is not polarized. Made in the USA by Guardian Electric.

Illuminating Moment
A cool double pole double throw momentary rocker switch. The rocking switch lever is white plastic with a 24 V bulb in it. Wire it so the lamp is always on, flashes when pushed, is on except when pushed....whatever you want. The switch is rated for 3 amps @ 125 VAC and has solder terminals. 1" x 3/4" x 1-3/8" from the tip of the rocker to the base of the solder terminals at the back. Cory suggests applying it to your rocket launcher.

And see the red light. This panel-mount SPST push-on/push-off switch from Molex is rated for 125V and has a neon indicator lamp. Measures 2-1/4" x 15/16" x 1/2" with 3/16" quick-disconnect terminals. The panel face is 1-5/16" x 1/2" with plastic wings to keep it in place. The button is marked "AEC." Two contacts for the switch; two contacts for the lamp (diagram included). Latching. UL/CSA.
