Just A Simple Solenoid
This take-out solenoid valve is a simple open/closed solenoid valve that is normally closed. It draws 100mA at 12VDC. Has 3/16" OD inlet and outlet at right angles to each other. Housing measures 1-3/16" long x 15/16" dia with terminals at the back end.

Power Locks
We thought power corrupts, but it turns out otherwise. Power locks. You could put these in a car door, or think up something really kinetically clever. These brand new 12VDC door lock actuator assemblies draw 2.6A pushing or pulling with a 5/8" throw. Measure 4-5/8" long x 2-1/4" at the solenoid x 1-3/16" thick. Top is a removable plastic ring. Comes with 6-3/4" x 5/8" steel mounting bracket, a 9" rod and assorted screws.

Wanna Toggle?
The correct answer is "I don't know; I've never toggled." If, however, you just want to turn something on and off, here's a choice of toggles for your switching delectation. The DPDT toggle is rated for up to 20A at 125VAC and has screw terminals below. Measures 1-1/4" x 1-3/4". No center-off position. The first DPST toggle is rated for 20A at 125VAC or 15A at 250VAC. Screw terminals on the bottom. Measures 1-5/16" x 3/4". The smaller DPST toggle is rated for up to 4A at 125VAC or 2A at 250VAC. Has 3/16" spade terminals on the bottom and measures 1" X 9/16". All the toggles come with switch-plates and mounting nuts.

PRESSURE SWITCH
This vertical-mount diaphragm pressure switch, from World Magnetics", is rated for 3A at 120VAC. NO/NC switch contacts. Waterproof. Pressure is 1 psi and bursting point is 2.5 psi. For use with air or "compatible fluids" which would be a liquid that doesn't eat plastic. Inlet and outlet are 1/4" to 3/8" multi-barb. Measures 3-1/8" dia x 1-3/4" with standoffs at the bottom for mounting. Ports are on top, switch is on the back.

Light Up Your Toggle
This little SPST toggle switch has a red LED embedded in the bat, so you can tell when it's on. LED will fire with 3-12VDC. The switch measures 1-1/8" x 5/8" sq with a 1/2" bat and 15/32" contacts, a threaded mount with washer and nut, and (3) quick-disconnect terminals on the bottom. It comes with a wiring legend. Switch contacts are rated for 30A.

Got Something To Control?
Want to trigger something? Start with this honey of a pre-wired, ready-to-go take-out trigger/speed/polarity assembly from a cordless drill. Includes pre-wired IRFZ44N power MOSFET chip mounted on a heat sink. Feed voltage up to 20VDC to the (2) edge connectors at the shorter leads and attach a motor to the longer ones. The CW/off/CCW switch is below the trigger. The entire assembly measures 6" x 2-3/4" x 1-1/4", not counting the 4" leads.

Relay Twofers
12VDC relays are on special this week. The 1A special is a 2-pack of little lower-power relays from Kest Manufacturing. Each measures 13/16" x 3/8" x 7/16". Load contacts are rated for 125VAC 1A or 30VDC 2A. Dual sets of NO/NC contacts. Pin-out diagram on the bottom of the housing. UL. The 10A from Omron has both NO and NC contacts and is rated for up to 10A at 250VAC. Its 12V coil gets power at pins 2 & 5; pin 1 is the common; and pins 3 & 5 are NO and NC respectively. Measures 7/8" x 5/8" x 11/16" high. UL/CSA.

Togglers
All from GB® (Gardner Bender) or IDEAL® all bargains. The small SPST toggle switch, 1" x 1/2" x 1/2", has a switchplate, 3/8" bat, and 5-1/2" leads. Both panel mount DPST toggle switches, 1-3/8" x 3/4" x 1-1/8" OA, work with larger motors or appliances. Has screw terminals on the bottom and mounting hardware. The 1-1/8" x 5/8" x 1" deep OA momentary SPDT toggle switch, center off, is for back-and-forth switching, as with a winch. It's 3/4 HP max. Includes mounting hardware. The IDEAL® DPDT toggle switch is center off, 1-5/16" x 3/4" x 1-1/8" deep OA, comes with mounting hardware and is latching. All are UL/CSA.

When Is A Switch Like A TV Show?
When it has Red Buttons. These latching push-button switches, while they never had their own TV variety show, are still quite popular. They're SPST and rated for 250V 1A. The housing is 15/16" long x 7/16" dia with mounting nut and washer and with (2) 1/8" wide terminals. The push-button is 9/16" square, and red, sits in a black plastic sleeve, and will stand 7/16" off the face of your case.

The Old Switcheroo
Pick from our selection of old standards, all from Gardner-Bender®. The pull-chain switch is rated for 3A at 125VAC and measures 1" x just over 3/4" x 5/8" and comes with 6" leads, 2-1/4" of ball chain, and approx 6 feet of cord. Mounting dia is 13/32". The rotary switch is an SPTT rated for up to 6A at 125VAC for both of the loads it can switch. Measures 1" x 7/8" x 3/8" with a 5/8" x 3/8" dia double flattened shaft. 1/3HP Max. All are UL/CSA.
