Wee Black Light
Perfectly portable blacklight, with a bonus white LED flashlight on one end and a flip-out easel so you can stand it up while checking IDs, looking for art forgeries, or lighting a tiny dorm room. You add (4) "AA" batteries. The unit measures 6-1/4" x 2-1/8" x 3/4" thick with a wrist-strap. The UV-A bulb is replaceable.

Get twice the light. The (2) sockets for standard incandescent bulbs have crimp terminals with jumper leads. (Use 18-gauge wire.) The single steel bracket between them has (1) 3/8" threaded mounting hole in the center. Picture an older ceiling fixture, or a light above a medicine cabinet. Blue Beat-Bulb
Nothing says boogie wagon like a blue light that plugs into the cigarette lighter and pulses to the beat of your music. This 6-3/4" long tube is a cold cathode fluorescent (looks like neon but is much tougher and draws less juice) with a 42" lead to an audio sensor and control box and a 58" lead to the tube itself. Has a steady-state setting if you get tired of boogying. Self-adhesive pads on the light and control box.

Inner Peace Egg
We're very fond of this mesmerizing ovoid. It's a translucent-white, soft-rubber egg with LEDs inside, 3-5/8" tall x 2-3/4" dia at its egg waist, as it were. Turn it on and it morphs slowly through a series of attractive pastel colors. No Easter basket would be complete without one. Placed on a desk or nightstand, we think it can produce lasting inner peace. Which is hard to find these days. The 3-5/8" wide triangular silver-colored charging stand has an indicator and a wall adapter, and will power it when it's on the base, or charge its internal NiMH battery (over 8-10 hours) for 500 cycles (about 6 hours) of stand-alone morphing. Mighty nice, Paul says, now that he's found his inner peace.

Switched Fuse Panel
This pristine new take-out fused panel from a film projector (remember them?) has a DPST rocker switch and an IEC input plug that feeds a 3A fused line and an 8A line that leads to a load-protected relay. Panel measures 4-3/8" x 5-1/8" overall and needs 4" clearance in back. Made in the USA.

Treat With Heat
Start with one naked wire or a number of them, and a piece of our clever tubing, and end up with nice, tightly covered wire. For the specific diameters below, our each is a package of (10) 12" pieces of heat-shrink tubing. For an assortment of sizes, our each is a dozen pieces of 4" long tubing. You'll get (4) pieces each in 1/8", 1/4" and 1/2" diameters. All sizes are black. All will shrink to trim diameters half their current size when heated to 125°C/257°F. If only it worked on waistlines.

Mod Squad Alert
Green glows the technology. Or it does with this 11-3/8" long, green cold-cathode light tube. Draws approx 65mA at 12VDC and is designed run off your computer's power supply, but could also have automotive apps. Wiring harness has male connectors for power and ground plus (2) breakout connectors, a step-up transformer and a power switch. The lamp itself has adhesive tabs at each end for mounting, and a second output from the transformer lets you add another lamp for added green glowiness.

It's a 2-3/4" dia x 1-1/8" thick donut, hinged to open and reveal a pair of spring-loaded clips that fit from 3/8" to 1" dia. (Ignore the surplus-generating "1-1/4 inch" on the package.)
