Halogen Lamp With Lens
This 12V 35W Racing Series halogen lamp is made for automobile use and comes with a matching gasket and a 1/2" deep lens with a slight amber tint. (You'll need to epoxy the lens on if you're not mounting the lamp in another bracket.) Bulb is 2-1/2" wide x 1-11/16" tall x 1-1/2" deep with a 2-pin connector. Pins are 1/4" apart on the outside.

Dual-Action Nebula Lamp
Leave the purplish diffuser sphere on this dual-action laser lamp and the green, red and blue LEDs, plus (3) red lasers, shine through a motorized rotating eggshell lens for a mega-groovy nebulizing effect. Remove the diffuser and the lights project onto the wall and ceiling, mesmerically. The whole thing pivots 45° along a track, and we hear that if you leave your left hand on the sphere while it's on you might be able to see up to three weeks into the past. Measures 5-1/4" x 4-3/4" x 5-3/4" overall. Power is via a wall adapter.

This compact 5-LED strobe light takes (3) "AAA" batteries that you should buy from us, so you'll have enough cash left to buy the orange juice for the Harvey Wallbangers. The strobe measures just 4-7/8" x 3-1/4" x 2" and has a pivoting mounting bracket, but you could just stand it on the floor. Flashes approx (3) times per second. Now go walk like a pharaoh.

LEDs By The Dozen
Light emitting diodes. Solid state devices that provide the ubiquitous power and indicator lights on your electronic gadgetry. Unlike lamps, there are no filaments that glow. Rather, some two volts of DC power at a miniscule 10 to 20 milliamps of current get the chemistry excited, and they just plain emit. Emit is a good word, too, as they don't really cast light, but glow brightly. We have a nice assortment of 3 and 5 MM diameter sizes in red, green, orange, and yellow. The longer lead is always positive, the shorter always negative, and you always need a current limiting resistor (about 500 to 1,000 ohms for 5 to 9 volt DC sources) to keep the current in the 10-20 MA range. If that's Greek to you you're either going to blow a lot of LED's or learn to change incandescent indicator lamps ! !

Accent Lighting
So that your wheat can see where it's growing. OK, they're really for all those teeny-light needs: dollhouses, models, robots, train sets, like that. This set was made to be a repair kit for Aura Grain of Wheat rope lights, and you can still use it for that, but you'll get an 18" length of 3/8" dia clear or colored rope with (18) white lights inside, plus (2) 1-3/4" pieces of clear shrink-wrap tube, and (2) 2-pin splice connectors. The 18" length operates at 120VAC & draws approx. 9 watts. Use it as is or slice the tube and remove the 6 volt GOW lights.

Tchotchke Display Base
A great display base for those extra-special tchotchkes, usually glass or crystal, that benefit from oscillating red, yellow and blue LEDs flashing up from beneath them. This black-plastic base with Chippendale-ish feet is 3” square x approx 2” tall, with a 2” square top. The top is a clear-plastic grill with the lights and a diffraction sheet under it to give it an iridescent effect. You add (3) “AA” batteries.
