You move too fast. You got to make the mornin' last, sport, or you've got no chance at all of feelin' groovy. The Groovy Lamp is LavaLampish, but with clearer fluid that's not quite so goopy, but considerably more, well, groovy. Stands 13-1/4" tall on a 3-3/8" base and draws 25W. Has an in-line switch and 6-foot cord, and we'll pick a blue, green, purple or orange one for you. UL.

Three-Way Adapter

Red LEDs
This is a nice LED at a great price. The diffused-red LED with a T1 case measures 0.119" dia, or just under 1/8". The leads are about 1" long, with the positive a bit longer than the negative. It runs on 2.5 VDC at 20 MA. In a series with a 220 ohm resistor, you can run it at 5 VDC. In a series with a 1000 ohm resistor, at 12 VDC.

You could make one from this…like you could make a bunch of cool light-up stuff. It's a takeout array of (4) white LEDs from a GameBoy" accessory. The LEDs are mounted on a gray-plastic case (4" x 5/8" x 1/2") with the words "Solar Pak" and little rubber end doodads in lavender. Has bell-wire leads attached and draws 85mA at 4.5VDC.

A Different Kind of Mars Light
You can't clamp this one top of your car, but it'll give your living room a lovely star-trekkish design flavor. A Saturn-like (oddly, given the name) planet sits atop a silver hourglass/lava-lampish base and either pulses or slowly, fetchingly morphs through luminous red, green, and lavender colors, via internal LEDs. Runs on an internal rechargeable battery or household current (adapter included), and stands 10-3/4" tall x 6-1/8" dia at its widest (the planetary ring). Poor Man's Luminaria
It's a little 2-1/2" square base with brushed-aluminum-look sides and a mirrored top, in the middle of which 3 colored LEDs flash on and off in individual and combination patterns. Makes a dandy base to show off crystal and cocktail glasses, but stick a large styrene coffee cup upside down over it and put it in a dark room and you have the world's cheapest multi-color light show.
