Our pocket-sized multimeter measures a tiny 3-5/8" x 1-3/4" x 1" thick, with a 3-1/2 digit display on a 1-1/4" x 9/16" LCD screen. Will measure up to 500VAC, 100VDC, current from 200uA up to 10A, resistance up to 2000K ohms, and will also test diodes and transistors. Comes with (2) 24" test leads and a battery to power it. Turn It Off Before It Melts!
From Therm-O-Disc, this thermal cut-off switch is N/C (normally closed) by definition. (Thermal cut-offs are what keep your coffeepot from burning your house down.) This one shuts down between 221°F (105°C) and 248°F (120°C) and measures 5/8" dia x 9/16" thick, with (2) axial terminals.

Relay Twofers
12VDC relays are on special this week. The 1A special is a 2-pack of little lower-power relays from Kest Manufacturing. Each measures 13/16" x 3/8" x 7/16". Load contacts are rated for 125VAC 1A or 30VDC 2A. Dual sets of NO/NC contacts. Pin-out diagram on the bottom of the housing. UL. The 10A from Omron has both NO and NC contacts and is rated for up to 10A at 250VAC. Its 12V coil gets power at pins 2 & 5; pin 1 is the common; and pins 3 & 5 are NO and NC respectively. Measures 7/8" x 5/8" x 11/16" high. UL/CSA.

This digital dB meter from Sper Scientific is pocket-sized--8" x 1-5/8" x 7/8"--and measures sound levels from 32 to130 dB with a built-in 1/2" microphone using (2) "AAA" batteries (included). Okay, they're just strips of metal, but CJ says one of each and a grapefruit will get you at least a "C" at the science fair. The copper electrode is 5-3/16" long x 3/4" wide x .041" thick. The zinc electrode is 4" long x 3/4" wide x .027" thick and stamped "ZN". And both of them are awfully useful for crafters and jewelry makers, too.
