Clip Lead Set
Ten electrical leads with an alligator clip on each end. Each lead is about 20" long, not counting the 'gators. Vinyl coated 20-22 ga. wire with a vinyl cover over each clip. They come in an assortment of five colors with two leads in each color. The manufacturer calls them heavy duty but we would restrict them to the light currents and low voltages you will be using in your home experiments. Our each is a set of (10).

Treat With Heat
Start with one naked wire or a number of them, and a piece of our clever tubing, and end up with nice, tightly covered wire. For the specific diameters below, our each is a package of (10) 12" pieces of heat-shrink tubing. For an assortment of sizes, our each is a dozen pieces of 4" long tubing. You'll get (4) pieces each in 1/8", 1/4" and 1/2" diameters. All sizes are black. All will shrink to trim diameters half their current size when heated to 125°C/257°F. If only it worked on waistlines.

Connect any of those neat 12-volt appliances to your car's cigarette lighter port. This universal 12V accessory plug has a built-in, replaceable 5A fuse and (2) 5" leads (the positive is striped) with crimp connectors.

Cable Staples
Good uns, too, that stay put. You pick a bag of (50) or a jar of (225) of these cable staples with long brads. Each white plastic staple measures 1/2" x 1/4" ID with a 1-1/8" brad on each end. You'll need a hammer. Suitable for 14/2 non-metallic cable. UL.

Wire Connectors
Just what you need in wire connectors: The Crimpers collection is a 32-piece assortment for 10-22 AWG wiring, with (8) large and (18) small wire nuts plus (2) large and (4) small crimp connectors. The Rings collection for 14-16 AWG wiring has (48) pieces in all, including, according to the package, (20) ring terminals, (10) space terminals, (5) male and (7) female quick-disconnects, and (6) butt splices. Heat Shrink Sampler
A variety of heat shrink tubing pieces. You get (10) pieces, each (1) foot long for a small price. Size Small means each piece will be at least 1/16” but not over 1/4” OD before shrinking, and about one half that after shrinking. Each may be red, black white, yellow or who knows what color. Snip them into smaller bits. Use them end to end for longer pieces. You can’t go wrong with this deal!!

Shrink-To-Fit
The big stuff: translucent white heat shrink tubing at 3/4" dia. Like most heat shrink, this one shrinks to half its size when heated. You get (2) 4-foot pieces, for a total of (8) feet, and it will be bent for shipping, but that won't hurt it. The internationally renowned heat-shrinking department here at the home office suggests using a heat gun, not a disposable lighter, for shrinking this stuff.

Kute Kwik Klips
Konvenient, too. Kwik Klips are little easy-open 3/8" ID (but slightly expandable) sleeves for kollecting wires and cables. Pull the tab to open, push it to grab the wires, peel off the cover on the 1" x 3/4" self-adhesive back and stick it where you want it on drywall, painted surfaces, etc. Klever.
