These Speakers Are A Ball
These high-quality notebook speakers from Philips are 4" dia hemispheres that stand up by themselves or fit into gaskets on the amp housing (with self-storage for the cables) to form a handy 4" x 5-1/8" overall ball for travel. They have 2" drivers and a frequency response of 100-18Khz. Power can come from a USB port (cable included), (3) "AAA" batteries (not included), or a wall plug adapter if you have a spare. They'll also operate passively if you're powerless. Plug them into a sound source with the included 1/8" miniplug.

You Say Breadboad...
And the manufacturer, Elenco Electronics, says Bredblox, but what’s in a name? These are just nice little breadboards for electronic experiments. The Elenco Model 9830 measures 6-1/2" long x 2-1/8" wide x 5/16" thick with (2) power busses up both long edges and (63) double rows of more busses. The holes for components and jumper wires are approx .050" each and multiple boards can be interlocked via tabs and ports on the long edges. Now go invent something and get rich.

This One Hertz Our Ears
Our little solid-state buzzer is a diminutive 9/16" x 3/32" x 1-1/4" but it buzzes along at 8,000 hertz. Rated for 6VDC 20mA, but works fine with as little as 3V. Mounting brackets with holes on the back of the short sides, 4" wire leads. Lotta buzz for the buck.
