We have hardware for the SecureTouch(tm) fingerprint reader from Biometric Access Corporation(tm). The 4-7/8" x 3-7/16" x 3-1/4" unit has a fingertip platen, a parallel port pass-through, and a split interface that lets it draw power from your computer's keyboard port. For windows NT 4.0. (Will not work with current windows versions) This is a sweet way to keep a creep from sneakin' a peak at your monitor, and we suspect that one of you high-tech techies will find a way to use it to lock spies out of your laboratory. At this price, it makes a great project! Once again, our readers rule!

Nice little slide pot of the sort used for e.g. speaker volume control. Which is to say it is low wattage, probably under a half, but we don't know for sure. It has a 3/8" x 1-3/8" x 1/4" body with a 1/2" long constant resistance between the inside contacts, short between the outside, and 0-200 ohms variable between any inside and any outside contact. Circuit board mount. CTS SA 1315 8914.

These liquid crystal displays are raring to go. As soon as we can get Mary Ann to stop playing with them we'll pick out (5) assorted displays for you. (She keeps zapping them with static electricity to see what pops up. Mary Ann is easily amused.) Sizes range from 1-3/16" x 2" to a few as large as 5" x 10". They're unused. Some have pin leads, some have traces right on the wafer. Either way, they're a terrific bargain.

Good old RG59 coax cable. You know it, you love it, it's what you use to connect your TV to the cable outlet, plus many other vital applications. Black, 6' long, 1/2" dia, both ends are threaded male. A great product, and a lot cheaper than you'll find anywhere else, we dare say.

The whole office can be full of dust-free monitor screens, thanks to the hero who handed out dry squeegees to everyone! The 3-7/8" wide plastic scrapers (very assorted colors, our choice) have a 1/4" wide strip of something fuzzy on one side to sweep lint and dust from the glass. When the air conditioner goes berserk, you can flip them over to scrape off the frost. You want to be a real hero, give them extras for their windshields.
