Phone Freedom
Frustrated by a too-short phone cord? Plug your telephone line cord (a single-line RJ11, 2-line RJ14, or 3-line RJ25) into one end of this 1-1/4" x 1/2" x 9/16" in-line coupler from Radio Shack(r). Plug a telephone extension cord into the other end of the modular plastic coupler. Plug the free end of the extension into a wall jack. See how simple? See how convenient? See how you can finally have a real-life dependable phone, as opposed to a cordless handset, where you need it?

What A Buy!
Our 4-1/2" long x 2" wide x 1" deep cell phones fit nicely in this black-leather carrying case. The front is a 2-1/2" x 1-5/8" window of clear plastic through which you can press the buttons. The case is open on the bottom so you can access the ports, and comes with a 6" wrist strap and a plastic belt/pocket clip. A small strap snaps over the phone antenna to keep it from slipping out. Unfortunately, if your phone doesn't have an external antenna, there is nothing to keep it in except a snug fit, an extraordinarily rigid posture, and a determination to never bend over.

Buzzing Transducer
This little (12mm dia x 8mm thick) transducer makes that ultra-annoying buzzing modem sound, because it's made for a modem. Apply a square wave signal in the 2200Hz range at approx 6V and it will buzzerate for you. Well, who wouldn't? Sound pressure level is about 85dB, 80 Ohm impedance. Housing is marked for polarity. Printed on the top is RDI-DMT-1206. Application notes are at www.microchip.com, reference AN655.
