The holder is 2-1/2" x 11", but loaded it probably needs at least a 4" x 12" space. Call it "handy", call it "clever", just don't call it "Hang 10". Okay?

These black-plastic brackets with (2) 1/8” mounting holes are designed to hold the IEC jack on a computer. The bracket for a flush mount has locking tabs, inside dimensions of 1–3/32” x 13/16” plus side slots, and will stand 1/8” off the panel. The bracket for a recessed mount has locking tabs, inside dimensions of 1–1/16” x 3/4” plus side slots, and a 3/16” deep well. The swivel bracket is 2” x 1–1/16” x 1–1/2” OA and includes a strain relief that can swivel 180°.
