Oscillator Alert!

For all of life's back and forths or up and downs, like those creepy bat wings in our favorite Halloween displays. This new gear motor was made for the Saturn people, to run a rear wiper assembly, but now it can oscillate in your window display, kinetic sculpture, robot or clever invention. Operates on 12VDC at 1.5A (no load). Stall current is 7A. Has a 3-pin power connector (blue=pos, brown=ground, and ignore the black). The output shaft is 1-3/4" long OA x 6mm dia, and partially threaded. Oscillates approx 2 times per second. The whole magilla measures 6-1/2" x 6-3/4" x 5-1/8".

Tough Gear Motor

Small but durable. Measures 1-1/2" long (including the terminals) x 1-1/16" dia, with a removable, 1-1/4" dia x 1-1/8" long gearbox and 3/16" x 3/8" long flattened offset shaft. Runs between 6-12 VDC. At 12 VDC, it spins 7 rpm and draws 90mA. Gearbox ratio is approx 400:1. Has (3) 3/32" mounting holes on the shaft face. Reversible.

Brand new (made for a kiddy car ride with a big gear-box), this reversible 6-12VDC Johnson motor (#141292 and 169324) draws 1.4A and spins 10,000 rpms at 12VDC. Measures 2-1/2" long x 1-1/2" dia with a 1/8" dia x 3/8" long striated shaft. Has (2) tabs on the back for hook-up and (2) mounting holes on the face.

Gear Motor

Open, close or move whatever with this mighty little 3-12VDC 4RPM gear motor designed to operate a vent in a Chrysler product. Draws just 15mA no-load and stalls at 200mA. Output is via a 1/2" dia x 1/2" long sprocketed shaft. The case measures a diminutive 4-1/8" x 3-1/4" x 1" thick with (3) arms with 1/4" mounting holes. No leads, but the gearbox pops open to get into it and there are (2) terminal clips that hit the motor.

Small Is Beautiful

And this little 6-12VDC new gear motor is a stunner. Made for a telescope drive, it draws approx 100mA and spins approx 5 rpm at 12VDC. Has a 5/16" dia, 16-tooth sprocket on a 5/8" long shaft and is 2-7/16" x 1-7/8" x 2-5/8" OA. The gearbox ratio is approx 100:1. Has a short (3") 2-pin jumper for power and the stall current at 12VDC is 2A.

You'll get two-fer-cheap. This permanent-magnet DC motor from Molon operates from 6-12VDC, max efficiency at 12VDC, 11,100 rpm at 1.40A.
