Get an insider's view of the human body with our selection of human anatomy models in miniature. Designed for ages 8 and up, they're detailed enough to be useful teaching tools for ages right up through adult. The 31-piece, 3-3/4" tall, human brain model has the cerebellum; frontal, parietal, temporal, and occipital lobes; corpus callosum; brain stem; hippocampus; ventricles; insula; corpus striatum; internal capsule; and lentiform nucleus. The 29-piece heart model is 5" tall when assembled, and has superior and inferior vena cavae, left and right atria and ventricles, tricuspid valve, pulmonary artery, aorta, and mitral and aortal valves. The 31-piece, open-front male anatomy model stands 4-1/2" tall and includes the brain, skull, heart, rib cage, lungs, liver, stomach, pancreas, kidneys, intestines and spine. The human skeleton model stands 9-1/4" tall and includes all 200+ bones in (41) snap-together pieces. Each includes a stand and information booklet.

Ready Or Not Skeleton
This skeleton is actually used in medical and other schools for teaching. The bones are plastic, but other than that it's as realistic and anatomically correct as they come. The ready-to-use skeleton is mounted with a 360° swivel at the pelvis from a heavy-duty metal rod on a stand base with castors. It has a skull with a removable section, hinged jaw and (2) removable teeth; plastic zippered dust cover; and stainless steel wire, brackets and wing nut assembly for long life. It's articulated at all joints except the spine, so you can demonstrate flexion/extension, or merely pose it in a debonair posture. Size: 5' 6" tall. Weight: 23 lbs

Anatomical Charts
A collection of 11" x 14" top quality medical charts. They cover topics such as organs: "Eye" or "Skin", systems: "Digestive" or "Female Reproductive" and disease or conditions such as: "Cancer" and "Obesity". They are on heavy coated paper suitable for putting up in, say, a classroom where they would be excellent teaching aids. Most are overruns that are imprinted with the name of a drug at the bottom and were distributed as part of a promotion. A few have misspelling misprints. Because of varying quantities and a horrendous sorting problem, we cannot give you the luxury of picking your favorites from a long list. We also have (2) large (20" x 26") wall charts, One on hypertension and one on the male reproductive system.

Bone Up On Anatomy
You're not going to blow money on an actual human skeleton, are you? Consider that for a tenth of the price you can get an anatomically accurate skeleton done in plastic. This model is male (judging by the hips) and has many articulated joints-jaw, shoulder, knee, etc. Its small size (33") makes it practical for classroom use, since it can be passed around the room. Other nice touches include discrete neck vertebrae, a sectioned skull, and very little "flash" from the plastic molds. It also comes with a metal display stand, weighted at the bottom to prevent spills. Yes, some concessions had to be made because of the size and price, but this is still an invaluable teaching tool, and quite a nice decoration for those with morbid minds.

You'll want to make house room, or classroom room, for this nice budget skull in molded bone-colored plastic, about 8" diagonally from chin to back of cranium, with a handy removable and latching cranium and a spring-loaded jaw. Comes complete with a full set of teeth, (3) removable plus three spares-(2) lower front and (1) molar.

A pair of kits for ages 10 and up which will be fun to assemble and great educational aids for learning anatomy. Each is a complete, 15" tall model of the human body, including skeleton, internal organs and a clear plastic skin through which they may be viewed. Of course, what you get is all the bits and pieces. So the assembler must identify the parts, paint them (optional, paint not included) and glue them together to complete the finished man or woman. Which is what provides the fun and learning. Simple well illustrated directions and a comprehensive booklet summarizing the functions of the parts and explaining the body's systems (respiratory, digestive, endocrine, etc.) are included. A long standing favorite in our stores.

An eye way, way bigger than life-size, in fact. Our PVC scale model of the human eyeball breaks away into sections so you can see the inside, with blood vessels and musculature. Approx 5-3/4" dia on a removable 5-3/4" dia x 3" tall stand. Stands 9" tall OA and comes with a fact sheet. It's an optometric/opthalmological/biology lab must-have, but it would make a distinctive and colorful objet d'biologie on anyone's mantel.
