Rube Goldberg Kit
It's called chaos, but kids don't need a kit to create that, do they? And it actually is used to create really fun controlled "perpetual motion" Rube Goldberg-type devices. You (your kids will never displace you once they see this kit) assemble a frame of your choice and adorn it with sets of chutes, slides, funnels, catch baskets, trampolines... You name it. The new Chaos motor driven chain lifts a ball to the top of your construction and off it goes through whatever course(s) you have set up. Pop one of these roughly 1-1/4" dia stones into the toe of a sock, smash it with a hammer, and be the first person ever to see your real-as-Nature-makes-it geode!! Ninety percent of them have the familiar beautiful white crystals inside. Formed by volcanic action, they are found all over the world, but ours are from Mexico. There is no way to tell from the outside if they have crystal centers, but we will send you two just to raise your odds, and we haven't had a dud yet in our stores!! Water Rockets!!
A great toy that demonstrates the basics of rocketry. A plastic rocket is partially filled with water, air is pumped in with a little hand pump, and upon the release, the air pressure pushes the water out the back, propelling the rocket. About 1-1/2" dia x 6" long. Flight tests suggest loft and distances of about 50 feet each are achievable, when the right water/air mix is found. However, since operations lost their rocket on the roof, testing was terminated before final results could be obtained. Clearly, these are good fun for all ages. It has everything you need... Just add water!!
