Shoot one of these little plastic arrow-helicopter-rotor gismos straight up with the included rubber band launcher and watch it soar as far as 300 feet! A fun outdoor toy that grows in sophistication as you learn how to adjust the arrowcopter for wind conditions and flight patterns: distance, return, circular descent etc. Our "each" contains a package of two (2). Recommended for kids over the age of 9.

Geyser Gonna Love This
The geyser's little helper: you screw this 6" threaded and capped plastic tube onto a 2-liter plastic bottle of diet pop (not included) and fill it with Mentos® mints (included!). Pull the trigger pin and the mints drop while you watch it erupt in 25 feet of scientific deliciosity. The instructions say to select "an outdoor location," but we think that takes half the fun out of it.

Build-A-Dozer Kit
From Kustom Metal", this is a very nice erect-a-set-like kit with steel structural members plus rubber treads or a few plastic parts like wheels and accessories. We'll choose a clever Bulldozer, Excavator, Crane or Harvester, or a cool little Dragster or Racer, for you. The finished vehicle will be 5" or 6" long and proportionately high. Kits have between 130-190 pieces and include a small box wrench and screwdriver along with good instructions, although younger or impatient kiddles might need some help. Clever kids could also find other things to construct from the parts. Small parts and pieces, so keep it away from kids three and under.

Goooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllll!!!! Build your own infrared remote-control robotic soccer players-(1) kicker and (1) goalkeeper, and hold the Mini-World Cup on your floor. Probably be more scoring, too. You'll get the pair of bots, each with its own controller, and each with (4) channels, so if your friends buy a set, too, you can all play at once. You'll get the white/ translucent blue plastic cases, pre-wired circuit boards, wiring harnesses and (2) 1-3/8" dia soccer balls. The assembled bots will stand approx 5-1/2" tall and move left, right, forward, backwards and kick with authority. There's a good 17pp assembly manual (no soldering needed-a handy middle-schooler or middle-aged soccer fan can do it with minimal tools) and a template to make little jerseys for your team. You add a dozen "AA" and (2) 9V batteries and you're ready to play. And if you lose, please don't go running amuck and smashing the windows in the family room.

So we got this clear plastic fossil mold from Roylco®, 8-1/2" x 10-1/2" OA, to make replicas of ammonite, chirostenotes' claw, trilobite, king crab and gryodus. You can create detailed plaster-of-Paris models 3" to 3-1/2" dia, but we'd give the kids a break and use chocolate or Jell-O", because nothing makes paleontology more fun than eating the fossil record.
