Tanks A Lot

Well, a pair, but that's a lot in the tank biz. This very cool kit has translucent green plastic frames, pre-wired circuit boards and motor harnesses, and the result, despite the kit's misleading Titan Tank name, is TWO 5" square x 3" tall wireless remote-control tanks (with separate controllers) that fire invisible infrared bullets at each other, and reverse direction when hit. Plus, they light up and make tank noises. Each controller has (4) channels, so if you buy (2) sets of (2), everybody can play. Each tank will take (8) "AA" batteries that you'll supply, but remember that they light up and shoot rays and make noise and move around, so you're getting a lot of bang for your battery. Includes a 15pp manual and circuit boards that are already assembled, so anyone with a steady hand from, say, a nine-year-old to a WWII tank commander, should be able to assemble them.

Flexible Stained Glass

Start off your budding Louis Comfort Tiffany with Glass Deco", a kit to make mock stained glass with flexible acrylics. Put the acrylic on vinyl, wait for it to dry, then peel it off. It sticks to windows or any slick surface. You get (8) tubes (green, white, yellow, orange, red, violet, blue and sparkling pink), plus black and gold "liners" to make the faux lead caning, (2) different applicator tips, (12) 9" x 5-7/8" vinyl sheets to work on, and (12) kid's patterns, including critters and toys, although you could make your own patterns or use other pix. Non-toxic, but not for tots under age 3.

Our little electronic voice-modulating kit is perfect for wolves imitating grandmothers as well as for robotic voices, party tricks, karaoke enhancement, or hiding from your mother when she calls. Medium level electronics knowledge and some soldering required (solder not included). Cooler Than Monkeys

Triops: way cooler, bigger and more active than sea monkeys. They're dinosaur shrimp, leftovers from some 200 million years ago. Don't eat them; just grow them and enjoy this bizarre & ancient display of nature! You get a kidney-shaped tank 2-3/8" tall x 8-1/2"x 5-3/4", a very informative instruction booklet, and a packet full of triops eggs and food. Add the eggs to water and watch them go; they'll hatch in a day and reach 1" to 2" or more in a few weeks. Really easy to do, and really cool too.
