New, Improved Solar System

Our solar system is so much better than the original, because it's made of glow-in-the-dark-in-colors foam and is light enough to hang from your bedroom ceiling. The original would just pull the ceiling right down on top the bed and make a terrible mess. This easy-to-make mobile comes with the sun and all the planets, including the much-maligned Pluto, and a Space Shuttle, plus a couple of random stars, cord and a mounting bracket. Planets range from 3/4" to 2-1/2" dia.

Mount That Specimen
Cases for mounting butterflies, bugs, rocks, fossils or any other three dimensional collectibles. Known as Riker mounts, these are sturdy cardboard boxes 7/8" deep, with glass glued into the front cover for viewing. They are filled with a fairly firm, white, expanded, synthetic, cotton–like material. The cushiony filler holds the three–dimensional viewee in place without pins or glue. Very handy for the proud trophy hunter. Our smaller is 8” x 12” and the larger 12” x 16–1/2”.

This nicely detailed model of the human head breaks into (14) pieces. (It comes partially assembled, so, in a break with tradition, some disassembly is required.) Has good musculature, bone and blood vessel details along with a removable eyeball, and a brain that separates into halves, like yours. Measures 4-5/8" tall, mounted on its small base. Intended for ages 8+.
