Tailgates, trailers, small homemade vehicular devices…these struts/shock absorbers are priced right. Rated at 265 lbs, they measure 13-5/8" extended, 8-13/16" long compressed, with a 7/8" dia barrel. The threaded mounts have 3/8" bores at each end. Buy two, they're small.

Blue Springs
Sounds like the place you go to put your feet up and decompress, right? Not exactly. These are compression springs which for some reason have been painted aah-inducing shades of blue. The 1-15/16" dia springs are 1-7/8" high, their 3/32" dia wire is turned up at the ends. The 1-9/16" dia springs are 2-1/16" high and their 1/8" dia wire is tapered flat. Make yourself a chaise lounge and relax.
