Flushlight
Not our fault, that pun. For once. The manufacturer of the Flush Light" …the only way to go" calls it the night light for sleepy-time visits. The amber LED is in a white plastic replacement flush handle that will, pardon us, light your way. It's 3-1/4" long x 1" and the on-button glows in the dark. Touch it and it shines on the target. Turns off by itself in 4-1/2 minutes, which should be long enough, really. Includes standard plastic hardware for connecting inside the tank. (But don't try to bend that rigid plastic rod, no matter what the instructions say.) Takes (1) 9-volt battery, included.

Swell Stopper
Our rubber stopper, similar to a single-hole rubber stopper, fits into a 1" opening. Tighten the plastic nut and bolt that goes through it, and the stopper expands to seal the hole. The top of the bolt has a 5/16" hose-barb fitting for 5/16" ID tubing. The bottom has a 5/16" bore. Handy in the lab, but worth the price for the components alone.

Brand new steering wheel, black and padded, made for a London taxi conversion. Think Fiat, Alfa Romeo, or auto like that. The 14-1/2" dia wheel is by Breed, and the separate air-bag assembly is by the same company and fits into the wheel. The assembly is smaller than a U.S. model and measures 9-1/2" across x 6-1/2" x 2-1/2" deep. The black vinyl cover has the original bag, horn button symbols and switches, and "SRS-40" debossed in the center. Buy either or buy the set.

You need to hang on? Try the suction-cup Safety Grip Handle from Ideaworks®. Stick it on tile, marble or any similarly smooth surface, push the blue tabs, and it hangs on tight, although (and we say this with those pesky liability issues firmly in mind) we don't think we'd use it in our grandmother's bathroom in lieu of the permanent kind. In white plastic, 11-1/2" long, it would also make a nice grab bar for a fiberglass boat, glass handler for the shop, goofy roof accessory for a small car, or prop telephone.

Redo the Loo
Get started with this wax seal for toilet bowls. It measures approx 5-3/4" OD x 2-3/4" ID x 1" thick, fits 3" or 4" outlets, and comes with a plastic sleeve and installation instructions. The package of toilet bolts includes (2) 1/4" x 2-1/4" bolts with nuts and washers for securing the bowl to the floor. The toilet seat hinge set is white plastic, with mounting screws. The flush tank lever with the 8" long interior extension arm is chromed aluminum. Finally, the tank bolt replacement set, for securing the toilet tank to the bowl, is a pair of 3" long x 1/4"-18 brass bolts, with nuts, rubber gaskets and brass washers.

Those would be professional–quality tire repair products –– in this case, air–line couplers with a 1/4” NPT thread on one end and a fitting for a T–type connector on the other. The 1–1/2” long interchangeable steel nipples have T–connectors that are threaded. Excellent quality, whatever your application.

A basic PVC extension tube unthreaded 12" x 1-1/2" dia (1-1/4" inside dia) tailpiece with one flared end to fit a compression gasket. If sink drains bore you, glue the pieces together to make an exercise maze for the kids' white mice.
