Get A Grip
These are high-tech, and more effective, versions of those toothpicks and matchsticks you've been sticking into screw and dowel holes to improve the grip. Wrap one around the chair leg or whatever needs to fit more tightly, and it's instant gripping. Our each is an assortment of (9) pieces of thin, extruded steel strips at 4" x 1/4" and (3) pieces at 2-1/4" x 3/4". Uber clever, we think.

The Incredible Growing Handles
Better get these beauties before the staff takes them all home: telescoping extension handles (new ones) from the rolling-luggage industry, and we think they're the niftiest things since, well, rolling luggage. Attach them (along with wheels) to tool boxes, build your own rolling storage cases, create pull-out work spaces under desktops or workbenches. This dream handle has dual 1" wide x 3/4" rectangular black steel shafts, 4-1/2" apart, with a 2-draw telescope action and a push button in the handle. The shafts float in a steel bracket that allows the handle to be recessed into a case. This is saw-offable, however, so the handle could also be independently mounted on the outside of a surface. The handle extends 20" for an OA length of 33-1/2"

Suction Cups
Clear soft plastic suction cups in varying sizes. Medium small is 1–1/16" dia. without a hook. Medium large is 1–5/8" dia with a hook. Finally, the medium yellow is solid yellow or sometimes green, is 1–1/2" dia and has no hook. Yellow/Green is made of a harder rubber than the other clear guys. If you can’t find what you need here, it doesn’t exist.

A Matched Set
They’re an impressive couple, both formed from 7/16” dia steel. The 4-1/4” long threaded D-ring has a 3/8” gap when fully opened. The snap on the 5-1/2” long carabiner is keyed to keep it from sliding to one side when closed. We don’t have a strength rating for the set, and Jeff wouldn’t let us dangle him from the roof (He used to be a better sport!) but we’re pretty sure it would have held him.

Screw-Plus, That’s Us
Assorted hardware from Textron Logistics Company: Most of the screws are round-headed machine screws with matching nuts and combination slotted/Phillips heads. The screw eyes are all-steel. The wood screws are brass. The lock nuts have nylon inserts. The number of screws in each pack varies, but you’ll get (8) of the packs. We’ll let you do the multiplication.

Brass Mollies
And very elegant mollies, indeed. These 5/16" long x 15/64 dia brass mollies have beveled striations around the outside, and 1/8" -24 threaded interior bores. The little beauties, of the design (if not the size) used to attach furniture feet and legs, come in a package of (50). They don't, however, come with matching brass screws.

By Hook Or By Crook
Hook, we suggest, because stealing is a crime. Try this threaded, 1/4" dia steel J-hook, 4" long OA. The ID of the hook is just under 7/8".

White Wire Ties
A hundred of them at under 2 cents a pop. Or a zip. Our each is a bag of white nylon wire ties with (40) at 4" long x 3/32", (30) at 6" x 3/32", (20) at 8" x 1/8", and (10) at 10" x 1/8". Every toolbox should have at least one bag of these.

Universal Appeal
The robot crowd is gonna love hanging around this joint. Heavy metal, cool moves, very dark. A real pickup joint. Turns out this universal joint was supposed to be a steering coupler in a 2002/2003 Dodge pickup. It's 7-3/8" x 1-11/16" dia OA. The sections are flat on one side. The 6" leg has a 5/8" end bore. The 2-5/16" leg has a 3/4" end bore. Both sections have 5/16" dia openings for set screws. We think we'd call the robot Ram-bo.

Wire Tie-er
The Wonder Bundler is going to save you a bundle, bunkie. Stop snipping off long ends of plastic wire ties, or jerry-rigging three of them together, and use this auto-tool to grab, tighten and tie with exactly the length of wire-tie strapping it takes. This 8" long gaffer's friend is plastic and comes with 50-foot spool of 1/8" wide white plastic strapping and (300) fasteners.
