Irish Spring?
Nope, not an Irish spring. This spring is made right here in the USA. You get a whole bunch for two bucks: (20) steel extension springs, 1-1/8" long x 3/8" dia with 1/4" loops at both ends. Strong for their size.

PVC Tube
A basic PVC extension tube unthreaded 12" x 1-1/2" dia (1-1/4" inside dia) tailpiece with one flared end to fit a compression gasket. If sink drains bore you, glue the pieces together to make an exercise maze for the kids' white mice.

Who doesn't love a grommet? Now you can make your own shower curtains and curtains, and repair tents and tarps. You get (20) 3/8" ID grommets, a cutting tool, die, and 4-1/2" long punch. You add a wood block to prevent damage under the die when you smack the grommet (which would be a great name for a video game). Ideal for use with canvas, plastic, leather and fabrics of all sorts. Hose Clamps
You could use hose clamps to keep your socks up, but it would hurt, so we suggest just clamping hoses with them. You pick from the small aluminum clamp, 5/16" wide with just a 1/4" hex head without a flathead slot, that fits 1-3/8” dia min and 1-3/4” dia max; or the large one that’s 1/2" wide with a 5/16" hex/flathead screw that fits 2” dia min and 2-3/4” dia max.

Flushlight
Not our fault, that pun. For once. The manufacturer of the Flush Light" …the only way to go" calls it the night light for sleepy-time visits. The amber LED is in a white plastic replacement flush handle that will, pardon us, light your way. It's 3-1/4" long x 1" and the on-button glows in the dark. Touch it and it shines on the target. Turns off by itself in 4-1/2 minutes, which should be long enough, really. Includes standard plastic hardware for connecting inside the tank. (But don't try to bend that rigid plastic rod, no matter what the instructions say.) Takes (1) 9-volt battery, included.

DIY Piano Hinge
U-drill it. Or U-spot-weld it to a metal surface. This unusual steel piano hinge from a custom cabinet-making concern is 16-1/2" long x 5/8" wide on each leg. One side is slightly concave and has just (2) 1/4" mounting holes approx 2" from each end, the other side is completely undrilled.

Versatile Grommet
A rubber grommet, 7/8" dia x 11/16" thick, with a brass insert that forms a flange over one face and lines about 3/4" of the length of the 1/4" dia bore. Use it as a grommet, a shock mount, or both. With or without a brass wire hanger that is set under the insert flange and extends 1" to the side. The hanger is bent to hold a 1/4" dia wire.

The Eyes Have It
Eye-bolts-R-Us. You pick from an assortment of zinc-plated eye bolts and lags from Stanley™. The long eye bolt is 6" long with a 7/8" ID, a 3/8"-16 thread, and a 300 lb max load. The shorter but brawnier eye bolt is 4" long with a 1-5/16" ID, a 7/16"-13 thread, and a max load of 400 lbs. The lag eye bolt (like the others, but threaded for wood instead of having a nut and bolt on the end) is 4-1/2" long with a 1-3/16" ID and a 260 lb max load.
