Totally assorted scraps of polarizing film. Sizes range from 2-3/8" square to 6-1/2" square to 2" x 13". Thicknesses range from 11 to 17 mils. Most are a shade of gray, but some are light green. Each package holds (10) pieces. Great inspiration for a science fair project.

Fiber Optics
The wave of the future. Create your own ISP or long-distance phone company. The plastic fiber-optic cables are clear, 1/32" dia single strand. Unjacketed is IFC-U1000, 1000nM. Jacketed cables are encased by black plastic, 1/16" OD, IFC-E1000, 1000nM. What do modelers do with it? A recent magazine on model railroading showed how to build a lighted marquee using fiber optics. Pretty neat!! The big boys get $1.60 to $1.90/per foot for this stuff!! All fiber optics sold in 10-ft lengths. Extremely neat!!

Fiber Optic Cable
If far-flung fiber optics are in your future, consider our 30-ft section of F/O data transmission cable. Each side of the blue-jacketed (or maybe green-jacketed) dual cable is 3/16" wide, insulated, and holds approx (20) very fine fiber optic strands. Not good for light transmission. Labeled OFNP.
