Magnif Lamp
Magnificent magnifier lamp! Great for hobby work, stamp or coin collecting, needlepoint, sewing and crafts, even reading if your eyes are "mature". The plastic "head" assembly has a 3.5" dia, 3 diopter magnifying lens and a socket with switch for an incandescent lamp (60 Watt max.) This is mounted on the end of an arm the other end of which clamps to the table top. The arm has (2) roughly 15" long sections and swivels at the clamp to allow precise positioning over your work. Plugs into any wall socket. Basic black or white, it is a brand new good quality item that you will find so useful you will wonder how you got along without it!

Magnification is determined by color-coded 4X, 10X, 40X and 100X oil-emersion objectives and (2) 10X eyepieces, for 40X, 100X, 400X and 1000X magnification. It offers a 110-volt, 1-watt LED substage illumination, interpupilary adjustment, rack-and-pinion course/fine focus, an iris diaphragm, and a mechanical stage with an Abbe condenser. Because it's one excellent spotting scope from Celestron®. A Maksutov-Cassegrain design with multi-coated optics, it has a 65mm dia aperture and 30-90X magnification. It comes with a tabletop tripod that adjusts from 9-1/2" to 12-1/2" tall, and has fine-tuning knobs for horizontal and vertical angles. The scope itself, with an image-erect 45-degree eyepiece, weighs just over a pound and measures 3-1/8" dia x 8-3/4". Comes in a very nice black, soft carrying case with a shoulder strap, a hook-and-loop closure, and a handy chamois tucked inside.

This very nice clear glass lens is large, 3-9/16" dia, and DCX (double convex) with a magnification of approx 2X and a focal length of approx 10". Quite pleasing just to have on a desktop, but a good item for physics classrooms or folks who want to make their own Sherlockian magnifying glass.

A nice 3X loupe, 2-3/8" dia, that folds into its own 3-3/8" x 2-5/8" tear-drop-shaped plastic case, and it's only 5/8" thick, just right for sliding into your pocket. Pay no attention the "6X" markings on the package-if mistakes didn't happen, we wouldn't be in business.

The kids need presents for all the grandmas and great-aunts? You volunteer at the nursing home and need token gifts for your L-O-Ls? And your eyes aren't so good, either? Our each is really half a dozen pretty little magnifiers with round lenses and fancy handles. The handles are silver-bright (hard to believe they're aluminum) and all different. Each has a discreet hole in the tip for a jump ring so it could be worn on a necklace -- but it would look just as pretty on a desk. The overall length of the (6) magnifiers varies from about 3-3/4" to 5", the lenses from 1-1/4" to 1-3/4" dia. All are approx 2X magnification. Mary Ann's pick of the month.
