Insect Inspection
When you peer through your magnifying glass at this specimen, or focus your microscope on it, even at the lower magnifications which work best, you're looking at one big bug. Make that (4) big bugs. The insects are real, encased in clear acrylic blocks 1-3/4" x 1-1/4" x up to 11/16" thick, and ready for inspection. Set 1 includes a scorpion, giant ant, wasp and a flower bug. Set 2 is a cricket, locust, yellow leaf beetle, and crab. No, not a crab louse or a crab spider, but definitely a crab ugly….

Magnifying Headband
Perfect for detail, hobby or jewelry work, for examining bugs and rocks and field specimens, even reading. An adjustable headband holds a flip-up visor. On the visor is a battery holde (2) "AAA", not included) and light which can be turned on and off and aimed where needed. Below the visor hangs a pair of magnifying lenses which can be flipped up out of your sight independent of the visor. (4) interchangeable acrylic lens sets are included, 1.2X, 1.8 X, 2.5X and 3.5 X. Digital Light Meter
This Velleman DVM 1300 Light Meter displays measurements between 0.1 and 50K lux in (5) different ranges on a liquid crystal display with (4) 1/2" high digits. Filtered 1-1/2" dia sensor on a 13" coiled cord. The 4-5/8" x 2-3/8" x 7/8" case has reflective tape on the back for dealing with a shadow. Comes in a vinyl case with a recommended-illumination chart and a 12-volt battery.

Projection Lenses
The following is a partial listing of the projection type lens assemblies the we currently have on hand. Quantities may vary from just a few pieces to a thousand or more. If there is a particular lens that might fulfill a production requirement, we would be pleased to provide information on total availability and larger quantity pricing. All of these lenses are in excellent condition, although few may have cosmetic defects in the barrels or mounts. We have intentionally kept the prices quite low in relation to OEM costs to enable small quantity users to experiment with them.

A little pricey for a 2" x 2" x 1/8" thick piece of clear glass, until you figure that this is pretty darned talented glass, and that it filters heat and reflects infrared and ultraviolet rays. Then it's a bargain!
