Big Yellow Thermometer
The numbers are 3/8" tall on this yellow 15" tall x 3" wide alcohol thermometer designed for the classroom. Reads -40° to 50°C and -40° to 120°F in red, and is in a plastic housing with (3) keyed mounting slots. Bulb is behind a plastic grid to keep little fingers from making it 98° in the room. How do we know it's for a classroom? Don't be a dunce! It says so right on it!

Timing Is Everything
Call it the no-excuses timer, with sound and light and a warning mode to alert even the most distracted. With 360° viewing, it's perfect for test day, or for the kitchen if you've learned to tune out that little "bing!" sound. Has both a standard timer and warning timer that set separately for intervals from five minutes to two hours. Prehistoric Poster
So the poster is really brand new. The animals on it are (1) to (190) million years old, and if that doesn't qualify as pre-history, may we stumble over a glyptodon in the dark. Invicta Plastics Ltd. of Leicester, England, printed this 23" x 16-1/2" poster with a colorful diorama to promote their authentic scale models of prehistoric animals. A time line across the bottom lists dates and data for a dozen of them, from the plesiosaur to the woolly mammoth, and compares their sizes to that of a pair of five-year-old children.
