These hunting and fishing helpers are written and illustrated by professionals and are dense with information and step-by-step, full-color instructions for deer and duck hunters and fisherpersons. They're printed on heavy laminated 8-1/2" x 11" stock folded to a pocket-sized 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". Each Field Guide series includes (6) different guides: How to site and work a deer stand; place your shot effectively and safely; field dress and quarter a deer; identify diving and puddle ducks. Each Fish Guide series includes (6) different guides: How to cast for and trigger bass; work with minnow rigs; identify trout, salmon and catfish -- plus how to stay alive and stop the bleeding when things go a touch wrong. Thermoelectric Demo Unit
Calling all physics teachers: This slick, semiconductor-based unit demonstrates the Peltier effect (conversion of electricity into heat and cold) and the reverse Seebeck effect. Designed to work with a couple of standard foam coffee cups. The unit has a Peltier junction sandwiched between (2) 1-3/4" x approx 7" long aluminum brackets and is connected to a small DC motor with a blade, (2) banana-plug sockets, and a switch between them.
